    The parlay king
St. Louis Cardinals vs. Cincinnati Reds
    DOMINATOR MOVE 20 UNITS
    Pick: STL -135
MLB: Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 at 7:10 PM ET
    Line: STL -135 / CIN +125
    Total: 7.5
    Probable Pitchers:
John Lackey (9-6) vs. Anthony DeSclafani (6-7)
The St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds will clash once again, this time at Great American Ballpark. The two NL Central-rivals faced off at the beginning of last week, with the Reds coming away with a surprise series victory on the road in St. Louis. John Lackey will take the mound for the Cardinals on Tuesday night, while the Reds are expected to counter with rookie right-hander Anthony DeSclafani. These two pitchers took the mound against one another in the series finale at Busch Stadium, where the Reds’ rookie out-dueled Lackey in a 1-0 win.
Lackey Looks For Revenge vs. Reds
The St. Louis Cardinals will have a chance to get some revenge after losing a three-game series to the Reds last week. John Lackey will open the three-game series in Cincinnati after losing the series finale in a 1-0 duel last week. Lackey tossed eight innings of one-run ball, limiting the Reds’ offense to just two hits on the evening. He comes in with a 9-6 record to go along with a 2.78 ERA on the season. The Cardinals’ right-hander has pitched into the seventh inning and given up two runs or less in each of his last nine starts. Lackey continues to be one of the league’s best bargains this season, as he is pitching for the veteran’s minimum as part of a team option at the end of his deal.
    DeSclafani Takes Mound Again
The Cincinnati Reds will send rookie Anthony DeSclafani to the mound for their first game against the division-rival St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday. He has tossed back-to-back quality starts entering Tuesday’s home outing against the Red Birds. The Reds’ rookie comes in with a 6-7 record to go along with a 3.75 ERA on the season. He shutout the Cardinals in his last outing, spinning seven scoreless innings in a win at Busch Stadium. The win marked the first time that the Reds had won back-to-back games at Busch Stadium since 2011.
    Baseball Trends:
    The STL Cardinals are:
5-0 in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a losing record.
9-2 in Lackey’s last 11 starts when their opponent scores 2 runs or less in their previous game.
19-9 in their last 28 games following a win.
    The CIN Reds are:
1-4 in their last 5 games following an off day.
2-5 in their last 7 games as a home underdog of +110 to +150.
2-6 in their last 8 meetings
    Pick: STL -135
The Cards have been dominating the Reds this season. Lackey has to be the pick here, despite his unsightly road ERA. The right-hander has a respectable 3.21 ERA against the Reds this season. Look for Lackey to get back on track with a win against the Reds on Tuesday night.
