Not sure if you know all the current and past information with Jersey and the gambling laws, but Gov. Christie has been trying for years now to legalize sports betting in his state. The professional leagues (NFL, NBA, and MLB) as well as the NCAA have all been trying to thwart his efforts, stating legalized sports betting would compromise the integrity of the sports themselves. Bunch of bull, of course - we all know they are only against it bc they can't get a cut of the profits - but it has to work itself through the legal court system. Will be very interesting to see how it all plays out!

Know a little bit, I'm pretty sure Christie was against it at first. The rep from Monmouth County has been pushing the longest for it. The horsetrack there has a sportsbook ready to go. Earlier in the season they had an open date scheduled on a Sunday (just at the Monmouth horsetrack), $100 max bets, but that is when the leagues stepped in and got the court injunction. Haven't heard much about it lately. Never know with these politicians where they stand.

Front running weasel; slapping Giant, Jets and even Eagle fans (alot of Eagle fans live in Jersey) right in the face
