Hard-luck Hondo dropped a couple of one-runners last night as the Mariners and Orioles failed to carry out their assignments, causing the NRN (nasty red number) to grow to 630 cuellars.
Tonight, Mr. Aitch will give Niese one more -unit test before granting him a permanent stall in the stable. As they say in Nigeria, good luck, Jonathon! Also, he will take another shot at the Birds – on Matusz over Hughes in El Bronx.
