Some Records, Reputable Guys to Follow
Hello guys, I'm new here and I'm sorry if I'm being a pain, but I see lots of posts in here with no lifetime, season, or even recent records for the touts, so I'm wondering if anyone has any insight on whether any of these guys are worth tailing.

One guy I'm considering tailing is Indian Cowboy, so would love to hear opinions on him.

Also, if anyone has some season records for sports on these touts or some recommended guys to follow, I'd appreciate it.

    Thank you.

Go to an independent sports monitoring site such as the Oklahoma Sports Monitor.

Thanks, was looking for this site. I had seen it like a year ago and had trouble finding another good one.

Do you know a good site for a soccer monitor?

Oklahoma Sports Monitor is a scam.

The touts pay for the service, so they are the customer. Never works that way, since Oklahoma Onitor depends on the touts business.

Only way it works is if the Monitor did it for free, or a third party paid for the service.

So, do you know a third party monitor? Haha.

Also, it sounds a bit inaccurate. I wouldn't be surprised if the sports monitor altered or skewed the results in order to show the touts more favorably, but I doubt the touts are actually paying directly. It seems like the sports monitor gets paid when people click on the tout and would buy their service when being referred to by the monitor.

I'd say that's a conspiracy theory at best without any evidence to support it, but it's certainly not impossible.

Regardless, to make a long story short, this thread pops up in some iteration every few days or weeks and results in a back and forth where folks come in touting the person they follow as being 145-55 this season or hitting 67% this month-- followed by a string of responses bashing that same handicapper. So unfortunately, the only thing you can do is look for someone who makes their long term results available, offers some level of transparency and most importantly, do your own tracking and monitoring, because the only person you can trust in this shady game is yourself.

Well, I've heard talk of spreadsheets, so this is kind of what I was looking for, actually.

This conversation seems to come up at least once a week... here's a standard response to everyone that asks about services/cappers/records etc:

Here's some advice and some things I've learned throughout the years of betting sports, and being on this forum...take it for what its worth:

-Everyone here is going to have their favorites that they either Fade or Follow...You will never get an unbiased opinion.
Indian Cowboy, some people swear by him others hate him. Brandon Lang / Mighty Quinn...a lot of people make money off fading these guys, while others don't see the logic in blindly fading someone( although people will blindly follow a play ).

-People will shill the sh*t out of their services, especially here. Do your own research on a particular service before you buy into the hype someone is throwing at you.

-Find someone who you like/respect the opinion of. Every handicapper has a different perspective and sees the game differently. If there is one play on the board, 50 people will like one side and the other 50 will like the other side. Find a capper who's write up and logic makes sense to you, and makes you feel good about the play he is on. You will never win every play, just like you will never lose every play. The idea is to put yourself in a position or align yourself with people who give you the best chance to win on a play, not necessary someone who is just "hot" at the moment.

-Don't play the field looking for the "hot" cappers. Winning streaks come and go just as losing streaks do...it’s just part of the business. Jumping from one capper to the next will only hurt your bankroll.

-Don't fall for the advertising or marketing BS that goes along with the sports handicapping industry. A "one million percent max play" has the same odds of winning/losing as a 1* play does.

-Money management is key. Never chase and never bet more than a certain percentage of your bankroll. Sports betting is a marathon, not a sprint. If you are looking for a quick payday, buy a lottery ticket.

if you go to the search box on the top and type in "best capper" or "capper" and search the threads a ton of them will pop up, everytime the question comes up you will get different answers depending on who is hot at the time.

Very well said except I disagree about the chase. I've had some excellent results with 2,3, and a few 4 game chases.

I agree...Chase Systems can be profitable if done right...but they can also be very costly. There's some dude on here who "chased" the Houston Rockets to the tune of losing 10 in a row...thats where the "chase" will kill you. I was refering more in terms of If you lose a play don't force out another play just to try to get back to even. You never wanna force a play is all I really meant.

some people love certain chase systems I think what needs to be said about that is you MUST have a bankroll that can sustain a cold streak, even crusher who runs a pretty nice chase system had a hell of a loosing streak, he got most of it back but if your bankroll couldnt withstand the streak your screwed

I agree with that. you can't chase until your broke and broken hearted and never won't to play again. I really liked the one that WWSports was using before he disappeared off here. He only went 3 levels, but added part of the loses to other lower level plays. Check out his first page to get a better description of the way he played it. The dude never missed a single play in nearly a month. He went like 30-0 in Hockey with a 58% ROI and 23-0 in NBA with a 30.5% ROI. Pretty strong if you ask me. Here's the first page. http://forum.sbrforum.com/hockey-bet...ing-plays.html

I appreciate all the inputs here, but was more interested in whether or not there were some legit "experts" that you guys would recommend following (or not). The only one I've found so far that I don't really have much doubt about would be right angle sports.

                                              Winning Cappers???????

If you've been around this game long enough you will learn that all the monitors are shady at best.....2... there are no cappper's that win over the long haul... RAS is the closest but over the long haul they are around even with the best available line and factoring some very bad -- seasons since their inception... 3..there always a new guy who explodes out of the block only to flame out when they turn tout.... .. Rich Sports is a prime example... what left you ask??? Of course the longest flaming douche you can imagine....Butthole Lang..... this isnt rocket science guys why make it difficult???
