When you unplug your modem (assuming you are using DSL or Cable without a static IP address), then your provider will generally assign you a new IP address once you plug your modem back in and connect to the network. Clearing out your browser cookies will also remove any hidden data that the forum may have created to identify you. Some forums will remove the "logout" button for users that are banned, but again this is easily fixable by clearing out cookies. The only known way to stop someone from creating a new account would be to ban a range of IP address, but this could potentially ban other users that use the same ISP.

I'm sure you're correct. A couple years ago I did everything I could to change my IP address (just to see if I could do it) and I could'nt. Think changing machines is the only solution unless you're a nerd.

The computer you are on has nothing to do with your IP address. The IP address is assigned by your ISP and has nothing to do with with the physical "machine" you are using. Unplug your cable or DSL modem and you'll get a new IP address.... it's that simple (unless you have a static IP which never changes, but most people don't have this).

The issue at hand here is not whether we are allowed to post star ratings (which I know that we are NOT allowed to do). It is whether or not we are allowed to post star ratings for games that are ALREADY OVER. The infraction you gave out was for posting a star ratings for games that ENDED YESTERDAY! We have been told multiple times that this was ok!

I hear a lot of complaints about this forum, why doesn't someone just create their own forum, I'm sure many people would gladly go there. Matter of fact from what I here there is one in the works that will allow all the stars, etc., you want.

Many exist already. There is a free blog that always posts IC's plays as well with star ratings.

When I tried this several years ago I went to one of those web sites that will tell you what your IP address is. Now matter what I did my IP address was always reported the same. Any idea what I was doing wrong? Thanks!

You may have a static IP address. It is assigned to you by your ISP and will never change.

Really not sure if you have a motive or not but your January record is egregiously wrong. I follow/bet and track every single one of IC's plays and check and recheck my records daily while logging them on a spreadsheet.

In January he went 46-48-2
In February he went 45-40
In March so far he is 8-4

In January his free plays went 10-16
In February his free plays also went 10-16
In March so far they are 1-3

Not sure how in the heck you have such a stellar January record when it was his worst month in a long time. How could you be so off? Literally a 22-game difference (the swing that is) between what actually occured and what you are saying happened.

I'm neither a troll that hates IC, or a tout. I like Indian Cowboy, reasonable trust his skills and sales techniques and bet and track every play he offers so it just bothers me when someone irresponsibly posts statistics that others are going to rely on and bet their hard earned money based on. Get it right or don't post at all.

you could try using "hidemyass" or spend about 20 bucks for "Hide My IP" software. I use it all the time when marketing.

I'll go over it, and recheck it is possible i have it wrong and made a mistake, would you like to post his records everyday? No need for the smart ass remarks, your obviously new and haven't seen my past post, because im not a fan of IC. I was trying to track his record for myself and others here. I started keeping track of his record February 1st here, and had to dig out his record for January. So instead of been bothered just help, im sure alot of people here do appreciate what im trying to do. What would be helpful is you started posting his record here with me cause people do make mistakes. The more the better, im all for it.

mistakes happen not the end of the world, most of us know what your intentions are and they are not to have someone loose money on this, if anyone looks at just this record and bets all of their money and looses then they are lazy and didn't do enough home work. This isnt IC's website(you can't even get the records there) thanks for all the posting roc.

I hear you it is for sure way off, only reason that I say this is because I have seen a lot of Blackroc's posting and I would say at a minimum he "dislikes" the cowboy. I am sure that he didn't do it on purpose because if he had said that he did horrible then I might have thought he did it on purpose. Anyhow Blackroc good people in my book. Welcome Britton, after a couple weeks if you stick around you will see all these IC post cause quite a bit of controversy one way or the other. BOL bro
