Question for posters who are 30+ years old

I am forced to deal with young guys for tech and nerd/geek stuff. Otherwise i would need alot of training i really don't want to take the time for. I like to point and click and think its magic.

i talk to a couple of gus on here and i have no idea how old they are. also work with guys younger than me and dont know their age. no big deal really.

I have a few friends who are in their early 20's. Most of them I met before my father took ill. The main thing to remember is these kids have no attention span, their twitchy like bateman, and if pressed for anything their first response will be to revert to their tough guy routine.

They will gladly spend $200 or more a month on cell phone bills but drive a used POS they bought for under a grand. Truthfully the cell phone they are holding most likely cost them more than their car (See also their IPOD/PSP/ Other electronics on them at all times).

One particular guy is engaged at the moment, ignores his finance completely even when she asks him to go get food because she's hungry (She's also pregnant now). Wait till the ring is on I keep telling his idiot ass he's going to pay. He doesn't see it. Which is also ironically how most of Gen y treats their women.

No, most of my friends are around my age , except when I go to the track and I am one of the "kids".

I work in a juvenile jail....so i spend 8 hrs a day with a couple dozen 13-18 year old troublemakers.

Not a hard job, but the little fuckers stress me out occasionally.
