give the guy a chance people. he says he only wants to go for a couple months. its money he can "waste". there is no epic fail here if this is true. he says he can get a job whenever he needs one.
how many people do u know that have student loans and didnt graduate? i know a few. if he loses its a life lesson just like college except college u need to pay back.
like some others have said, make a gameplan, stick to it, and have fun. 4000 a month does seem like you could cut down a bit though.
