Well, its not mine per se but it's a very successful model that will truly benefit this Review/Forum site, the Bookies, and last but not least the Players.
Following the model at Casinomeister - a comprehensive online casino review/forum site quite similar to here - we should have all bookmaking sites, highly ranked to the bottom of the barrel, who so wishes to maintain accreditation and rankings on here or to get a boost in reputation and rankings, to designate a representative from their site, willing to participate, to monitor and moderate posts on the forum as an added daily regime to their job.
In return for the Bookies, it would very well boost PR from the understated bookies and in turn create a new wave of customer base for them; it would further reinforce the status quo that we all come to expect at the established A and B bookies and, finally, weed out the true fly by nights that I constantly read about players still getting screwed there.
For the players, its an added layer of security, peace of mind, and more substantial prospects instead of just winging it.
And we all know how it benefits SBR. Just have a complaints/issue section for easy navigation for the reps to moderate. Bottom line is, the deciding factor in depositing to any book would be mainly predicated on how the reps respond/resolve issues, especially payouts I would think. Of course, we would have to be civil on our end as well.
As for the non-compliant books, it would be just business as usual - no additional chastising for not participating and obviously no extra P.R. appraisal due to non participation.
Casinomeister has implemented this since day one with much success and I notice the ones that seems to get the most business are usually the ones with active reps in the forum. More importantly, there are much, much less ambiguity on which are truly rogue and which are reputable (online casinos) at Casinomeister compared to over here.
For some reason online sportsbooks seemingly are prone to fly-by-night scammers more so than Online Poker and Online Casinos, I've noticed, so it would be fitting for this particular industry to have a forum with this kind of model I suggested. SBR is quite possibly the most comprehensive review/forum site for the online sportsbook market and, likewise, Casinomeister.com for the online casino industry. So it would be
to see this forum be even better with active sportsbook reps. What do you guys think?
