A lot of Detroit is still really nice, just doesn't get shown ever. Downtown Detroit is what really sucks, it's not that fun going by 50 homeless guys trying to get to a Tigers, Redwing, Or Lions game.

I am not saying Detroit is an amazing place currently. I am saying Atlanta is a shit hole as well.

Well how come come one shit hole grew 18% in 10 years and the other had -25% negative growth in 10 years? People get away from shit holes they don't come to live there in droves.

Quite possibly because the rap generation popularized the "ATL" and moved many into the area. It may also be because they have a competent government and a mayor that isn't in prison.

Its because of the people living here not the city itself. The construction of the city itself is the same exact shit as Chicago, there is no difference. Its the people that live in Detroit that will never change...
