Anyone else like visiting Cape May?
Was there last weekend for a nice 3 day vacation. Big fan of sunset beach; there's a sunken ship off the beach that was never moved:

    World War Two Watch Towers:

Took a ferry to Delaware and saw some pretty cool Lighthouses on the way. Would not mind living in one of them:

Pretty cool place. Prices are still low because of the season.

I've been on the Cape May Ferry around Oct-Nov one year. I was getting nautious and the only way from vomiting was sitting outside in the freezing cold. Cape May is nice (has a colonial look). I once went when it was 95 degrees, which was brutal and I went during Halloween. There's a ghost tour around the bed and breakfast's. I like the shops there but I'm a beach guy. Go to Stone Harbor on exit 10 of the Garden State Parkway and the beach is beautiful, the town is beautiful, and you can have a lot of fun there. If you need any food in the offseason, Cap May Courthouse is right over the causeway. I highly recommend Stone Harbor. There are affordable places to stay. There's a stigma that it's only for the rich. Not true. Take my advice and you'll have a very nice time

Cape May is nice to go to on the 4th of July. People there are very Patriotic. They have a gathering by the water that overlooks Delaware. You can go searching for Cape May diamonds. It's corny but it's kind of a cool experience

It's more fun to search for them on the beach than buy them in the shop there. People are very dedicated to their town at Cape May. I like it.

I don't know how people make a living down there but they do.

Very cool photos! I liked the first lighthouse, and the sunken ship. Can you go diving or snorkelling there? That would be cool to swim into the ship.

Not sure; I am sure you can. There are two lighthouses in DE that are literally in the ocean. Would be cool to be on them when a nice storm hits.

The Cape May Lighthouse is kind of cramped but it's nice. As for Wildwood, it's a dirty, nasty, drug infested dump. If you're on the boardwalk, the train goes right through the boardwalk. I wonder how many kids that that little train has hit? If I go to boardwalks, I go up north to Point Pleasant.

Damn, I'm getting in the mood for "Uncle Bill's Pancake House and the Fudge Kitchen (lots of cute girls there-I'm too old and have a girlfriend but it's good eye candy)

German subs came real close to NJ. One was found back in 1997 if I am not mistaken.
