I have slept in one before. Waste of money.
Just get yourself a $900 Kingsize pillowtop mattress. A KEY way to save some money is to NOT buy brand new boxsprings. The box does absolutely NOTHING for the comfort of your bed. You can use your old box and the bed will feel the same NO MATTER what mattress that you choose

I dont own one, but I have slept on them many times in hotels... they are overrated... the soft is way too soft... feels like a water bed trying to get out of it

SIMMONS king size pillow top.....................pillow tops suck, never buy another one, to soft for me............wife got a good deal on it at a local auction, so that's why we have it.
Looking for new bed.

You bought a mattress at an auction? Damn...how do you know that two old people didn't piss themselves on that sucker and you're laying in it?

Wife bought one, was here a week and that sum Beach went back. Could not get comfortable at any number.. Sucked. Bought a Simmons Comfort-Pedic. Close relative to the tempupedic, but with a Gel top layer to keep you cool. Best sleep I've had in years.

Yes, had one for over 10 years now, hands down the best item I have ever bought- if you work a labor job it is heaven for your back, if you like to sleep on your side-it is heaven for your back!

I own two king size memory foam mattresses. One is a pillow top and is too soft for my taste. The other is firm and very comfortable. Beware to anyone that owns one as it is extremely difficult to go back to a regular mattress after sleeping on memory foam for any extended period of time.
You're too sharp for memory foam though Fishy. After rigorous scientific study you've already come to the conclusion that CARCINOGENS in the foam will MAKE YOU SICK.

Nothing special and mine broke anyway. I'm stuck at whatever number it was last on.

I've got a Sealy Posturpedic. Too soft and it has valleys.
Would be nice to be able to adjust firmness IMO.

We were sleeping on an 8 year old cheap-but-comfy pillow-top mattress up until November - when my wife decided that it was time for a new one ... we shopped every store in town - even tried sleep-number and tempurpedic .. ended up buying a Simmons Beautyrest with the Memoryfoam topper etc etc .. spent around $1750 ... last week I was instructed to get back her old mattress from the spare room as she couldn't stand the new one ... Personally I sleep just as well on both of them ... but the only bed I've slept on other than ours that even came close ... was the "Serenity" bed that they have in the Hilton Hotels .... wow - that bed was awesome ... will have to save my pennies until I have another $1700 in the bank - and then go ahead and buy one of those too ....

Just a heads up, if you buy a select comfort be ready to put it together.
It comes in like 5 or 6 boxes, and i heard it's a pain in the a$$ to put toegther.
I use to work for FedEx and delivered several of these.
Most that I delivered were the same thing just unbranded or knockoff name.
They say those are the same but about 1/3 of the cost.

never tried a sleep number, but I have a tempur-pedic and it's not the magic bed it claims to be, but a decent bed though. Most likely than not, can't imagine the sleep number bed to be that much better.

This is the memory foam bed I have and love. Have owned for 4 months and never a bad night of sleep. Also my whole set up costs about 350.
Here are reviews for it. Mostly 5 stars 687/974. only 75 are less than 3 stars. Some of the bad reviews say its, too hard and like sleeping on concrete, while others say, this bed is way too soft. I think its perfect.
The bed comes rolled up inside a box. the box will easily fit into virtually any car. if a walmart near you offers site-to-store shipping u can pick it up yourself and save the 30 or so shipping cost. The set up does not require a box spring. They also offer a 12 inch rather than 8 if you prefer.
