No doubt, they should have put the womens game on ESPNU. Would love to see what kind of ratings this game actually got on ESPN.

it is called a championship game...they broadcast all championship games during the week that are at night on espn and espn2

The Hartford-New Haven rating was the highest women’s basketball rating on ESPN or ESPN2 here during the regular season and conference tournaments since the 19.7 rating in March 2003, when the Big East final saw Villanova break UConn’s then-70-game streak.

The 18.1 rating also topped last year’s Final Four contest between Connecticut and Stanford, which earned a 17.6. Connecticut has been on ESPN or ESPN2 39 times since the 2003 UConn/Villanova game.
