Moet is one of the better champagnes, but the bottle that chick is holding is Imperial (used to be called White Star) which is the cheapest type of Moet you can buy.

It's for people who want to be seen holding an expensive looking bottle without anyone else realizing they only spent thirty bucks on it. It's brought the reputation of the whole company down.

Yup I've been to Domaine Chandon in Napa Valley, CA- nice spot. Actually if you guys want to get technical... champagne is only a word that can be used for grapes grown in the Champage region of France. So technically, since this is from Cali, it is called sparkling wine. Not just wine though. No one says sparkling wine anyways. Everyone just refers to it as champagne

The other subsidiary in the world is located a couple of hours away from me here in Australia. Neither subsidiary produces Moet - they can't and don't. They produce sparkling and still wines - none with the word Moet in the title.

Next time I want to order that at a restaurant I'm going to ask for a bottle of "wine." Just like next time I'm at a bar and want a whiskey shot I'll order a "distilled beer". We'll see how that works out
