Ipad: Is it too heavy for phone calls?

Lets say you walk down the street with the Ipad in your hand and it rings can you hold it with one hand and answer a phone call? I'm thinking of getting one but don't know how to answer a phone call with it.

and, anybody that uses that big ass thing as a phone, is gonna look like a fool talking on it.

the new one is going to be a little smaller, but you still can't make calls on it
