Deliverance was Burt's best I think. Great movie. And I miss the Evening Shade, was watching it as a kid.

Loved the movie when I was a kid.

It was on TV about 6 months ago and could not believe how bad it was. Apart from the cast, everything was terrible.

It was far from an Academy award winning script, but you can definitely see how much they enjoyed making that movie behind the scenes. It was like a one month party with all the stars involved.
