Is Turbo Tax a Good Product?

It seems to do the job fine for me. I haven't used Tax Act or the others though. My buddy is a jr partner for an accounting firm and he uses it for his family and a couple friends every year.

Always done it myself, but things are getting more complicated and I'm getting lazier.

I've used Turbo Tax for about the last 6-7 years...

I've used it just filing standard family tax stuff and a couple years used it to file business taxes for a side business I was doing.

I love it. First time you want to go the long route so it'll ask you questions about do you have this, do you have this, etc. as it'll jog your memory as there may be more that you could enter that you've not thought about. I know the first time I did. In following years then I go the "I'll choose what I want to enter route" and it is more of a list of stuff to run through. But pulls your data from previous year so a lot of personal info is good to go.

I have used it for the past five years and have no complaints. I have been happy with the tax returns I have got back. Very simple and clear to use.

I've used the online version and e-filed the past few years with no problems. It'll offend your accountant friends but its cheap and easy to use.

They have free online filing if your adjusted is below 58,000 now. Just to let you know. A lot of different providers to choose from apperantly

I noticed a different filling online using turbo tax software comparing to accountant firm service. I tried both together using the firm service first and I noticed a huge different on payment on tax. I paid less on accountant service firm which he done through some software. This tax return is a tricky ass govt fraud IMO.

steve forbes flat tax is the greatest idea in america that no one will listen to, you could do your taxes on the back of a post card with one simple calculation, get rid of these billions and billions wasted on the tax prep business. Makes me sick seeing people lined up in front of h&r block, paying someone to pay their taxes

I would agree that taxes are much more complicated than they should be.

Tax act is cheaper and about as easy. Turbo tax is a good product.

I haven't used anything other than Turbo Tax since I started filing my taxes. Seems to work perfectly.

Have used it the last few years - I like it a lot! Wish it was cheaper but it gets everything done

I use turbo tax, my taxes are pretty simple though.

Turbotax is SUPER convenient...Def worth the money, especially if you're getting a discount
