Here's the deal guys. Last night my wife and I were sitting at a red light and got our rear end crushed by a drunk driver. He fled the scene and we followed him several miles while on the phone with police. When they stopped him it was a retired state trooper that was worse than drunk. They had to use force to remove him from the car. He crapped all over the place. He crapped himself again in the troopers back seat. He also was driving with a loaded pistol in the drivers seat they told us. Our car is beat up and our rear windows knocked out. Needless to say the oldtimer went to jail. We live in Florida but the guy was driving here with Wisconsin plates. I am calling my attorney this morning because we both have some aches and pains. Any opinions? My buddy said its like we bought a winning lottery ticket but I'm not so sure.

If you are in legit pain you have a case. The driver proved through his behavior that he was intoxicated. Your medical bills should be covered by his insurance. I would talk to an attorney and get your ass to the doctor asap.Comment -
Pretty crazy that it was a retired cop, hopefully he has good insurance ? I don't think this is jackpot material.

Turns out he is really well off and has a big farm and tons of real estate. His insurance is gonna pay the medical and auto and my attorney says we have a definite winner for punitive and pain and suffering. He took it on contingency and its gonna be a big one. The guy hit us and drove away. He was gonna screw us so I'm gonna clean him out in return. I didn't ask for this. It was done to me so GAME ON.Comment -
