Years ago he was loan sharking making over $100,000 a month but he was pulled over and arrested for carrying an illegal firearm and drug possession. They also found ledgers detailing his loan sharking but those charges didn't stick. Regardless of the charges that were dropped, he still served 5 years
He has been out for around two years now and instead of attempting to turn his life around he is loan sharking again. This time most of his customers are elderly and he has a much smaller client base. Apparently he found most of his clientele at the local casinos and a large proportion pay him with food stamp debit cards for 50% of their food value which he resells for profit. Talk about abuse of the system.
