    Beer Review 4 (Video)

    Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock 7.5

Dark browk in color, almost black, sweet smell with alcohol in the nose, roasted malt taste, some chocolate, long lingering taste defines this brew. Fairly carbonated and an easy drinker with light body.

The Lost Abbey: Serpent's Stout 8

11% booze...black in color, minimal head, smell of faint bourbon and cocoa. Taste is chocolate and deep espresso, a woody feel where the alcohol dissipates. Low carbonation, tons of flavor, don't drink this one if you are not at home base.

    Southern Tier Krampus SOLID 8.5

Smells like citrus with slight malt, medium body, and slight bitterness. Great balance. Not usually a fan of IPA's but this is one amazingly balanced hoppy beer. Actually it's a lager, but an unusually complex one. Very easy drinking. Was upgraded from 8 to 8.5.

    Founders Backwoods Bastard 7

Smell is BIG on bourbon, with lighter caramel notes. Lots of falvor with oak notes, but bourbon overpowers everything, personally unless you LOVE the taste of bourbon, avoid this beer.
