Phrases and words that sound STUPID and annoys you?
Let me begin with just these 3 below. I have more -
1) Me and my homies went to the zoo. (sounds selfish and stupid)
Correct wording - My friends and I went to the zoo.
2) My babies daddy (ghetto and garbage)
Correct wording - My child's father.
3) You feel me (more ghetto garbage)
Correct wording - Do you understand me.
What words or phrases today bother you and makes people sound stupid and uneducated?

I got a call from a guy who I could tell was trying to scam his auto insurance company, and when I asked what he wanted me to do for him, he said "I'm gonna be 100 with you, I want to try and fix it myself, but I need a shop to tow the car to"

1) Homies don't go to the zoo.
2) My baby's daddy is so much more immediately understandable. I know that the pair are not married. My child's father could go either way.
3) "Do you understand me" sounds rude. "You feel me" is much more congenial.
1) Hood rats that steal and rob for a living are animals and belong caged and in a zoo.
2) My child's father is as straight forward of a saying as it gets in the English language. Nothing insulting about it.
3) Do you understand me? Is a perfect saying when meeting Spanish speaking illegal immigrants.
