    Hustler$ Gamblers Crooks
I had Covid last week so I was in bed most of the time and either watched sports or binge watched Law & Order SVU. Got bored of SVU after a few seasons and found this show on Max called "Hustlers Gamblers Crooks." I've always like shows about gambling and/or cons such as "American Greed" which is one of my favorite show. And years ago History Channel had "Breaking Vegas" which I think is still the best series on guys beating Vegas either legit or mostly cheating. It was a great series.

Anyway, now watching "Hustlers Gamblers Crooks" and the first episode was irritating as hell. The first story was about some guy who worked as an electronic roulette croupier at Revel in Atlantic City and cheated the casino. He would pick up the ball and place it on the desired number for his partners in crime to win. The guy was so obvious it was stupid. But wait, the worst though was Mikki Mase. I've only seen a few of his videos on YT shorts and just laughed how obnoxiously fake he is. I can't believe this show had this guy yapping up some nonsense stories.

Got through that first episode and the second one is much better. Darryl Purpose was a card counter and part of a card counter team. Watch at the end of it and he has a picture of him with jet black curly hair with pimp outfit on... hilarious!

Just about anything Caan did was gold.

      @Header
VICE TV has a similar gambler series too.

The Wednesday Dick Wolf One Chicago shows are appointment, must see dramas here at casa de Nasher.
I cried after the season ending finale (Tracy Spiridokas's) swan song.
She was 100x more believable as an intelligence detective than Sophia Bush was.

When I grew up on the North Side, CPD had a motto "Call a friend, call a cop".

Also an officer went went to schools called Officer Friendly.

        Community Policing 101.

          Do you watch Chicago PD?
I'm a crime drama fanatic, without question the best crime drama I've ever seen.
Jason Beghe who plays top cop Sgt. Hank Voight is 100 percent bad ass.

Yes, I've watched 5 or 6 episodes, don't watch much TV.

It's on everyday for 2 hours on a local station, reruns. What network is it on?

Most likely binge watch during the winter on your review.

"Mr Jones" by Counting Crows "Want 2B someone to believe" was the CPD endgame back then.

            Should be everyone's end game.

I've seen the remake with Marky Mark. I need to search for the original and watch it.

Thanks for that, I suppose that's why I get paid the big bucks (that's tongue in cheek) to do this.

Thanks! I got the passion but not as savvy as some posters like you. Striving to get there. As BkofAma said, SBR is rock solid.

                        NBC, Wednesday night's.
Chicago PD is syndicated on ION and many local major markets

Counting Crows is playing the Mohegan Sun arena here next month.
I'm smelling a poker and a rock jam kind of evening.
                        Oh yeah.

August and Everything After was a *monster* CD, and without a doubt my very favorite CD from that mid to late 90's era.

I love the Bob Dylan reference.
Dylan is probably the greatest folk-rock artist ever, Counting Crows is the best IMO, the best folk-rock band of my generation.

"I wanna be Bob Dylan, Mr. Jones wishes he was someone just a little more funky"

                        Adam Duritz just oozes energy.

Forgot to add, when I was detained 8 days as a political prisoner for having the gall to suggest cheney resign because

of a conflict of interest with HIS privatized war on terror to save the former ceo's near bankrupt halliburton co., a

secret service agent (Former CPD like me) had to drive my '95 caravan to my detention site, had THIS tape in

my cassette player, told me U and I have great taste in music, the only positive remark of that stand up to evil event

                            in my life.

You know why brothers don't hurt brothers?

They might be forced to move in.

This may explain my vendetta against right wing liars and misLEADERS of truth.
