But I hope I would not support a govt who thinks terror attacks are any answer to anything.

It would be tough to get traction, but fighting to elect a govt willing to work with their neighbors in Israel would be what I would want I think.

The Gaza Palestinians could be in a great position of power to ensure the population became rich and prosperous if they were willing to "sell out" their current hateful principals of wanting to destroy their neighbor. The western world would shower them in money and support to build industries if anyone thought that would be accepted and work as a solution.

So then why can't/won't they do it? Israel would welcome it. You can criticize how they're responding to being attached, but ultimately they just want to live in peace.

I think the mistake you are making is: You think that Israel is operating in good faith. That's just not the case.

The idea from the start was to take the land and kick the Palestinians out of the country. Without some type of power, you just can't cooperate with that ideology. That's how you end up with Hamas.
