Trump then said that gas prices are "down to $1.98 in many states right now," repeating a claim he made weeks ago and again at least three times in the past week, CNN found. But according to AAA, gas prices have increased since Trump was inaugurated in January.
As of Sunday, the current average price for a gallon of regular gas is $3.17, and no state has an average gas price of $1.98. In fact, GasBuddy, a company that tracks gas prices at more than 150,000 gas stations nationwide, could find no gas station in the country selling gas at that price during the month of April, the company told CBS News. The lowest price they could locate last month was $2.19 per gallon at a Texas gas station.

I think Vance stumbled upon a legal loophole at Yale Law where he figured out he could rape all the children he wants ... because all he needs to do to avoid changes is change his name.
Went like this:
Cincinnati, 1997: JD Vance gets caught raping several members of a little league baseball team. Once booked, he announces his new name is Augustus Flapfinder and the police are forced to let him go.
Columbus, 1999: Augustus Flapfinder gets caught raping not one, but two cub scout troops. Anger builds and hundreds mill about downtown, they want Flapfinder dead ... but once booked, Augustus announces his new name is Lucien Buttsmith and Columbus police have no choice but to let him walk. And so on and so forth.
The truly insidious part is when the statute of limitations kicked in Vance got to re-up his original name without penalty. Now he is Vice President of the United States.

He never said Ovechkin is Canadian ya dummy.
After talking about Gretzky and Canada, Trump wanted to say (brag) how he had the team here in DC when he said "ya happen to have a very very good hockey player here on the Capitals". He was obviously speaking about Ovechkin and about hockey in general at that point. Trump is a big sports fan.
If this embarrasses you, you must’ve been really struggling when Biden was in office.

$2000 extra per car is actually quite a bit less than I expected auto makers to have to add on, given all the components like aluminum and steel and battery materials on the tariff radar.
World markets appear to be gaining a little confidence again.
