I can see the logic in that and would in ordinary circumstances support it.
However as the Rs stole 2 appointments which by all past precedents were entitled to be filled by Obama and Biden:
Let the current President have 2 appointments and then 2 appointments for the next President.

That's complete utter nonsense. It's happened multiple times that someone was nominated to the court the senate never gave them an up or down vote. Stephen Breyer was nominated to the 1st Circuit after Carter lost to Reagan and the democrats lost the senate.

Edit: Ginsburg could've died a year earlier and Scalia could've died a year later and the left would still want to pack the court with 4 more justices. If Trump wins and the GOP gets the senate, Thomas, Alito, Kagan, and Sotomayor all leave, the left would want 8 more because this is about having all power.
