The entire incident happened over the course of five minutes, O’Malley said. The juveniles got into the stolen cars and drove away.
However, some of the group were arrested within two hours thanks to a 911 call, officials said. Police said they found the teens inside a house they had broken into and took them into custody.
Of the 12 arrested, all were between 12 and 16 years old, Cleveland Police Chief Wayne Drummond said.

Alicia Navarro, who has autism, was just 14 when she disappeared in September 2019, leaving behind a note saying she would be back. Her birthday was just a couple days after her disappearance. At the time, her mother, Jessica Nunez, suspected her daughter had been lured away by a predator online.

As a result, the company was inundated with complaints and service appointments from drivers who expected a longer driving range, several sources told Reuters.
To suppress the volume of these complaints the automaker created a secret "Diversion Team" in Las Vegas to cancel appointments, Reuters reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.
