I'm excluding NHL. The easy choice would be the Gretzky trade. Still boggles my mind.
It's so far beyond reason that it's a different category. I think of it not so much as a "lopsided trade" as "How could he possibly make that trade?"
If Pocklington needed the $$ that badly, he should have just sold the team. Trading the top player in his prime is just bad business.
