Yeah world, the guy gave me an infraction, because I tried to help the OP on a forum that helps gamblers with issues they encounter.

And the help was: link to the form where the OP could actually get help with his issue!

It wasn't an infraction. It was an official warning to not post links to other forums and to not to use SBR to tell people to leave this site for another one. Official, so other mods can see you have been alerted not to do that.

But yes I am happy to say it here too. Please don't promote other sites and definitely do no use SBR to tell people to go elsewhere.

To go elsewhere? I did not tell anyone to go elsewhere! I posted a URL. Just that, nothing else.

Which was relevant to the topic and actually the BEST option for the affected user to consider - until you deleted it.

Your behaviour is thus directly contributing to the affected user's account continuing to being in limbo for a tad bit longer.

So if SBR has no means of helping the user, nobody is allowed to post a solution, are you high?

If SBR has no means/policies in place to help a given user, that user SHOULD NOT BE HELPED.
That is what you're basically saying!

And even don't mind mentions of other forums.

But you are not welcome to post that SBR is the wrong site and link them elsewhere.
