Since former President Donald Trump’s narrow victory in 2016, the Republican Party has suffered at the ballot box every two years, from the loss of the House in 2018 to the loss of the White House and Senate in 2020 to this year’s history-defying midterm disappointments.

It’s been a very vitriolic campaign,” McDaniel said in an interview, adding: “I’m all for scorched earth against Democrats. I don’t think it’s the right thing to do against other Republicans.”
Now that quote alone makes her the poster child of the GOP and they are all in the same boat and of the same mindset. No wonder the country can't get anything done.

The mindset in D.C. is something to behold, as evidently too many of the elected from both major parties are far from the center. Both are in need of a house-cleaning, but the GOP's condition is the worse for wear.

Good Luck, Republicans. As long as the stench of Trump permeates the party, you will continue to hemorrhage off moderate and Independent voters, and that means losing on a national basis. None of them are going to look at the disaster that is Trump and suddenly gonna say "Gee, that guy's really deserving of my support!" Except in rural areas and third world Southern states, Trump's a cement block tied around the party's neck. He's William Jennings Bryan, the Republican who lost four presidential elections...except Bryan was a good and honorable man.

Trump's AG, Trump's cybersecurity chief and multiple conservative REPUBLICAN judges appointed by Trump all agreed: there was not the tiniest bit of credible evidence of voter fraud impacting the results of the 2020 election. I find it incredible that two years later so many commentators on this page still cling to the delusional belief that the 2020 election was somehow rigged.

Here's some fun facts for the MAGA cult to mull over. Trump raised the debt in 4 years almost as much as Obama did in 8. Trump's GDP growth was the worst GDP growth since WW2. Trump had a 2 million job deficit when he left office compared to when he took office The fed printed more money under trump than any other 4 year period in the history of the United States. So please tell me what was so great about trump that you are willing to throw away our democracy for him?
ROBERT
They can throw her under the bus but the problem is still Trump. He could have been just another kooky Republican but the entire party kowtowed to him and made him important. As long as that happens they can expect more of the same. Sad-we have an inarticulate president with a suffering economy and a border crisis which is not being adequately addressed, and the Republicans still lost the Senate, lost ground in Statewide elections and barely held onj to the house.
That is Trump's legacy.

Not that I care who runs the Republican party. But this is funny. Trump cost the party the 2022 midterms with his personal choice of candidates. So now his followers want to blame McDaniels. We all know Republicans eat their own and Trump will eat the entire party.

If you read about Republicans and pretend they are professional wrestlers doing the dramatic interviews screaming and pointing at the camera, bolting into the ring to whack their opponents with a steel chair, and creating false story lines and chaos just for the drama, it is almost entertaining. Until you realize these people are actually going to have some influence in the world. Then it gets scary.

This is a beautiful opportunity for Democrats. Are you listening? Make sure the public knows that trumpism is branded into the republican party. They will never be free until every single person in the party doesn't support trumpism. Not just him but his unethical tactics. His philosophy that laws can be broken, that the foundation of our government is subject to abuse and disruption.

Other than trying to overthrow the government can someone explain the loyalty to Lucifer?
He didn't build the wall, he didn't oust The Affordable Care Act. He did however pardon countless criminal friends, tried to overthrow our democracy, asked us to spray Lysol in our mouth and take horse pills to fight COVID.
I am simply in awe of how easy people can be swayed by sAtAn.

As long as the GOP embraces Trump and his ilk like Greene, Gaetz, and Boebert and putting out candidates like Walker and Lake they are in for many disappointing election cycles.

Watching a beloved political party implode is not fun but it has probably passed the point of no return. First they called centrists like retiring Justice Sununu whose grandfather nominated Abraham Lincoln, a RINO. After they eliminated, the centrist families, they went after the conservatives, like Liz Cheney, whose father was a Republican VP. Now that they have eliminated the powerful "families" from the party, they are going after each other.
The problem with this strategy is most of the remaining Republican leadership is not generationally committed to the party. They don't care when you call them a RINO; after all they or their parents were Democrats. They only joined the Republican Party for personal political reasons and can leave just as quickly.

All these Republicans only care about power and money for themselves and big wealthy donors. They could care less about the middle class in proved that between 2016 and 2020 with massive tax cuts for corporations from 35% to 21%

I FOUND SOME OF YOUR VOTER FRAUD ! Stop the steal, eh Trumpets? When we ever find an election fraud case, it always seems to be Republican. Wonder why? GOP election official is arrested in upstate NY, charged with brazen ballot scheme. Jason Schofield applied for absentee ballots for voters who did not want to vote, and, in some instances, personally pushed voters to sign absentee ballot envelopes, positioning himself or his associates to commit voter fraud in primary and general elections in 2021, according to court papers.
The 12-count indictment charging Schofield said ballots were counted from at least four voters who were instructed to sign ballot envelopes but were not allowed to complete them. I guarantee they were doing this in every State, It`s the ONLY way tRump got more votes then he did in 2016 ! The GOP's Stealth War on Voters, 8/24/2016. 2016 Trump victory margin in Michigan: 13,107 Michigan purge list: 449,922; Trump victory margin in Arizona: 85,257 Arizona purge list: 270,824; Trump victory margin in North Carolina: 177,008.. North Carolina voting purge list: 589,393; Georgia purge list about 850,000.
