She is correct that the court of public opinion turned against her. The propaganda was out in full force. She made a miscalculation thinking that after what she had already taken from him in the divorce would hold up under scrutiny. She thought the left was on her side and my guess is she didn't give them whatever compensation they thought was necessary. I'd like to think that the people as a whole could see the scam she was running. If she had actually paid the money, she might've won easily.
