Getting out of the liquor store business - ideas for next chapter?

In the past 3/4 years, 5 owners I know have been murdered in cold blood inside their liquor stores. Every time I walk out of the store with money to take to the bank, at night, I get this bad feeling in my stomach that I am next. I am ready to move on and this is really the only thing I have known for most of my life, so I was wondering what you think could be something that will be good for the next 15 yearsish. My skills are entrepreneurship and understanding how to run a business.

Family was in beer biz for 80 years, I owned 2 liquor stores afterwards. Shitty biz now, too many SKUs, no margin, rents up, wages up, customers are pieces of shit.

He contracted with a hotel/convention center for him to supply and service a top of the line setup to help attract conference users, and the rental fees go to him directly. Pulls in about 5k per conference almost 52 weeks per year.

It's what I would do if I came into that sort of money to invest into an income earner suddenly.
