You can do a quick-charge at a 480v station and that takes about an hour or so.
I could go on all day about the pros and cons of these vehicles. Personally, I would never own one.
Your home electricity bill is then jacked.. I ran an electric heater in one of my rooms for the winter. I couldn't believe how much that effected my monthly electric bill. I can only imagine what a bunch of Tesla full charges would cost?
Just saying. I'd love to know the numbers to be honest?

LOOK here in PA Philly i'm at $4.40 average some as high as $4.95 reg lowest price out in delaware county are $4.38
funny thing late night stop at conoco 24 hr the PLUS gas was .05 less than reg $4.34 weeeeeeeeeeee marked in my book adress
i got lowest price earlier in Day $4.28 and using CC was able to go past limit and fill up 11 gals but omg $44.50 when just last week $35 did it
i goota haul ass this week n next bills over due and get started to invest few hunny and quit working for others
Want way better gas mileage in any vehicle but a spray lubricant for like $2 at dollar general or dollar tree before fill up spray in tank this lubrcates the entire fuel lines and gets better burn ..........my gas guge float was sticking years ago it would read emtpy when i had a 1/4 tank thats how i got this found out put as much air pressure in all 4 tires but rember in rain drive way sower than dry conditions 4 secs plus between u n car in front of you ....
slow light foot on take off from red light and if you get a stretch of steep downhill get like 85 mpg coast in neutral drops rpm and gears are not meshing and your speed goes up 5 mph or more
yesterday i did this all day for every downhill road got 75 miles on just over 1/4 tank used lots of heavy traffic in spots
also if you strt getting hardshifting going up hill dont fret it's not the trans you need a full tune up dont be cheap get the highest hot spark plugs air filter especially and that pcv valve and clean out the whole emisson lines
this will increse your MPG by 2 -3 more
also get lowest price you can even if have to travel 6 mile to save .5 per gal fill up 16 gals you save .80 cents i get like a 15 cent differnce from local near me at $4.52 to $4.34 12 gals most fill up i save huge $1.80 3 times per week = $5.40 if this goes for a year thast huge family dinner out for 4 $280.80 my gawd that better than any interest in checking or savings accounts that puny low .002 %
i think it averages out to like 1.5 cents per dollar $150 per 1000$ i dunno how they compund it

Had to google what a full charge on a tesla would cost on your home electric bill, here you go -
Certainly cheaper then buying gas but still not free.
The Tesla Model X costs about $15.29 to fully charge, which comes out to about 4.5 cents per mile. If you own a Tesla Model S, you can expect to pay about 3.7 per mile.

Anything with a heating element is gonna rip through electricity. At the restaurant I worked at, our electric bill was like 10k a month and the main thing that used up the most electricity was the dish machine due to it heating elements running all day long.
My mom and dad have an electric water heater and their electric bill is double what mine is.

The guy that owns the Tesla we work on paid over 5 grand a few years back to get a charging station installed at his home. I don't know what something like that costs today.

We have a guy at work who charges his Tesla for free at the nearby mall free charging stations. You can only charge for 2 hrs for free there. So he drops it off at 10 am then walks to the office and then walks back at 12 pm to pick it up fully charged. And he only needs to do this once or twice a week.

And do you think the power that generates his charge is not from fossil fuel?
Dems are just so lost on energy. Hopelessly lost. They are trying their best to "message". But literally have no solution.
The only thing you libtards should not be doing is voting. Look at this mess you morons created

Georgia was 63% fossil, 37% renewalble energy in 2020. When Vogel nuclear plant opens up next year it will be the largest nuclear plant in the US and Georgia will be producing energy fossil free.
Do your homework Roy Bacon. Quit repeating Fox News propaganda.

Nuclear energy is clean energy as long as you don't have a melt down or the nuclear plant gets bombed. Democrats don't like that either. Party of clowns..
I guess it's gonna be wind and solar.. Good luck with that garbage to power cities and vehicles all you green liberal focks.

Accident: BP America Refinery Explosion Location: Location: Texas City, TX Accident Occured On: 03/23/2005 | Final Report Released On: 03/20/2007 Accident Type: Oil and Refining - Fire and Explosion Investigation Status: The Board approved its final report by a vote of 5-0 at a public meeting in Texas City on March 20, 2007.
At approximately 1:20 p.m. on March 23, 2005, a series of explosions occurred at the BP Texas City refinery during the restarting of a hydrocarbon isomerization unit. Fifteen workers were killed and 180 others were injured. Many of the victims were in or around work trailers located near an atmospheric vent stack. The explosions occurred when a distillation tower flooded with hydrocarbons and was overpressurized, causing a geyser-like release from the vent stack.
Fosil fuel explosions don't have 500 year fall out like Nuclear plant melt downs..
I'm still in favor of Nuclear power plants to power up major cities. Just have to beef them up and make them very safe which they are now doing today. Dems still hell bent on wind and solar only.

What do you not like about solar and wind? I have seen many solar plants in the desert in California and wind turbines on the hills and mountains. Would you like to have a coal fired plant in Santa Monica next to the beach so you can watch the black smoke every morning going up from the smoke stacks?

Won't ever produce enough energy for major cities. It's cute though in theory.
