I spent the day in Philadelphia for the first time in 4 years yesterday. I live about 20 minutes from Philadelphia in a county that is poorly run, Delaware County. Of Course democrats run the county I live in as well, but what the Democrats have done to Philadelphia is disgusting. They have ruine the City.
Every single indoor establishment in Philadelphia is requiring masks and restaurants require vaccine cards. No one is in most of the bars and establishments. I got a beer and a burger at a bar, the people were nice, but they talked about how unsurprisingly, small business have been completely crushed in the city by the absurd actions the democrats running the city have taken. The bartender stood over me the whole time with a mask on while I ate, because he is required too, and I had to show a vaccine card I almost left at home just to have a meal there. I couldn't understand much of what the bartender and server said to me since they had masks, and I was the only person in the bar, which was right on Walnut street in the middle of the city.
The vaccine card requirement is also stupid because their is no way to no if someone's vaccine card is real, its just a piece of paper with writing, nothing is scanned or electronic.
There were covid testing stations on almost every corner and no one talked or exchanged basic small talk because of the masks. People were filled with fear, wearing masks everywhere, and staying far away from most people all the time.
There is zero reason why anyone vaccinated should be required to wear a mask. There is no asymptomatic spread and the chances of a vaccinated person getting very sick or worse from covid are essentially zero. Everyone will get exposed to covid anyways, according to the CDC over 200 million people have been exposed to Covid already, getting exposed to covid is unavoidable, and wearing masks will not prevent people from getting exposed to the virus.
The crime in Philadelphia is also out of control since the usual left morons don't want to put criminals in jail, district attorneys like Krasner don't even want violent criminals to have to post bail, since the left hides their dumb policies behind their usual race baiting rhetoric.
The restaurant and bar scene in Philadelphia is close to zero, small business have been crushed, and the leaders on the left running the city have run this city into the ground.
