    think it's named the Z flip...opinions?

I like the idea it should fit easily in a pocket. I see Apple isn't ready to release one yet.

Apple is always a couple years behind Samsung technology. Im excited to see how the folding phones do. I want to get the bigger one. Can open multiple apps on the different screens which im excited about for work

I got my first smartphone in 2021 and it's an iphone. I wish the flip had been available. As soon as the promotion is over going to get the Samsung flip. Apple is okay, but over rated. I got a good price on the iphone se2020.

8 months ago when our Sprint contract was up (and I couldn't get rid of Sprint fast enough) I did indeed do a side by side comparison with the Samsung and the iPhone 12.

Went with the iPhone but I have to admit the Samsung is nice.

Apple has one in the works I read.

My wife picked me up a $5 Motorola at a yard sale with one number entered in it. That was 4 tears ago. Before that she got me one for $2 that lasted 8+ years. I get a minute phone for football at $35 a month. The flips are either $5 or $10 a month for service. Will get one of these newer flips after they have been out a few years.

The phone is nice - a lot of upgrades from the Flip 2 -- much more sturdy, better functionality, durable, and is a nice looking phone. Only one major issue: The battery life sucks. It drains on the slightest use. That has to be the next enhancement.

                Thanks for the battery info.
That will likely make me wait for Apple's to compare. I'm not happy with the battery life on the iphone se 2020.

My work colleague has the flagship version. She got it second-hand and loves it. She has no issues with it. I wanted one myself, but it's too pricey for me, plus I figure the tech is too new so it's better to wait till it's been around for awhile to see how it holds up. It is definitely awesome because of the decent sized screen yet handy smaller fold up capability, transforming it to a travel friendly portable size. Sites like CNET and gsmarena usually give decent reviews, so you could check that out. The specs aren't so high end with the camera on the flagship though, so you need to think about whether that sort of thing would be an issue for you...

I did find a review by some tech magazine..The guy praised it EXCEPT for the battery life. Plus he had one other small negative. Samsung says the device is made to flip open 200,000 times with no issues. The magazine team said that they had problems in their test at 120,000 flips. That's a hell of a lot of flips. Never thought of that as being an issue. But as you said it's new
