It true people wont care about this in 3 yrs. However in a little more than 1 yr there will be an election in which people WILL remember this. They will also remember "defund the police" and the chaos that it created. They will remember the gas prices and how Biden stopped US oil production. They will realize hyper inflation along with a sluggish economy and how the Democrats did NOTHING to help the people who are hurting. More than likely the Repubs will control the house and Senate and Biden will be able to do diddly squat on anything. He will be a powerless prez.

Being a human involves not wanting to watch other get beheaded or raped or stoned.
The issue is that, much like the black States in Africa, the Afghanistan State is literally terror sponsored now, and the 20 years of infrastructure and moderate progress towards a civil society has been lost.
That is a loss for all humanity.
I couldn't care less about Afghanistan if they had a functioning society, but they don't...and the USA made promises and has obligations to see to it that we leave there with that in place, or at the very least, peace in place.
And we aren't. Biden has failed militarily & in a humanitarian effort. That's the problem, that's where the worldwide anger and disappointment comes from.

Biden has been wrong on every foreign policy but so have his advisors. They were wrong on this too. 20 years in Afghanistan and the Taliban takes over in 1 day. But somehow, another year or so would have done the trick. The US has not been right about anything since World War II and that was just thanks to the Russians killing millions of their guys softening things up.
The US has killed a lot more Afghans than the Taliban is going to kill or has killed. It is OK if you do it with drones. Not so much with guns or chopping heads. It is just inhumane.Comment -
