Even the money printed during trumps presidency was fought for tooth and nail by the democrats. Republicans always wanted to do less and the media kept badgering them about it. Wanted them to print even more money. What could possibly go wrong ? Oh wait the republicans warned you of this while you were calling them all kinds of names when they tried to lower stimulus amounts.

How could anyone possibly defend being democrat at this point ? They fcked up the whole country over this covid nonsense. Stole a year of our lives. Crashed our economy. Responsible for dividing races and creating hate. Ruined the traditional family. Everyone is depressed now. Girls turning into boys and this they/them nonsense. What a mess.

Friends keep telling me the value of their house is going up😂. Really inflation is happening like crazy. We don’t notice it much because of tech making things cheaper to balance things out. Not going to last. But it’s real and happening at a rate I’ve never seen in my lifetime. Just wait until feds raise interest rates. Housing market going to crash. Not even sure if there is a safe investment these days

        You're correct

However I'm completely disappointed in the boards failure to distinguish between poor government policy that creates these crashes (government shouldn't be manipulating private markets anyway), versus government policy that takes, literally takes, your wealth & income year after year.

To listen and try to direct the inability of forum participants to understand that the American economy & tax code is designed to spur investments, passive income, S Corp/ LLC growth (family business) and that is what Bidens plan aims to unwind.

Most family business w real estate sells for over $1mm. Most successful people retire w $1mm...liberal policies kill the American dream. They create the chaos of government interference that produces bubbles, they give poor people false hope and encourage irrational family and financial decisions.

...and yet so many simply do not see this and worse yet, defend/ advocate for it.

Pathetic failure of our educational system...but what would you expect, that's run by the liberals as well....

Everyday the brethren of SBR wants crypto to fall, wants the economy to crash, wants the world to fall into chaos just they can have 5 seconds to say they were right about something. It’s embarrassing to watch people on here hope for failure so they can rain dance around their political party. Instead of thinking about how it would be more useful to unite with people and find a common ground so that the right type of elected official could help more people.
But until then the smartest people in the world will tell you everything bad that is going to happen. Funny thing is I bet if I look back to 2010-2015 on here we werent even going to make it to 2021.

Don't sweat 2% downturns. The Fed will step in at 10% and jack it back up. The stock market is all there is.

You're right. The correlation btw Stock Mkt price and USD $$-printing is very tight.

The country is broke. They print paper with green ink on it man. Other countries are getting "out". Dollar will no longer be world reserve currency. Russia, China, India, buying up gold like a crak addict buying crak rock. They sold all their US Treasury bonds, other assests invested in US.

Add in this happening at the same time they printed all this money like crazy (they have printed more $$ in the last 2 years then all of the country's history combined)..it doesn't matter what you are rooting for or hoping this happens, etc. Its going to be a long road ahead and it will get much much worse before it ever gets better.

Because many Americans think their shit doesn't stink and they are so powerful over the rest of the world. They are no longer humble. Well, soon you will be humbled. The writing is on the wall. Its a house of cards and its going to come crashing down.

According to betting resource's forecast, there is a big correction and recession coming but not yet. Summer is going to be very bullish with multiple new highs for all indices. Small corrections after new highs are not crash. Markets have been consolidating during the past 6 months and once the quarterly expiry happens on June 30th, there is going to be massive melt up in the markets for the 3rd quarter. Some great option plays out there to profit on.

2nd or 3rd qtr next year they'll start jacking rates and you'll see the effect of fake money and government interference in our market.

Last 15 months have been fake. A house of cards, to steal and hoard cash by those than can...then jack up rates, making that cash more valuable...but deflating the economy.

And the S&P 500 is only up about 23% since the February 2020 high, and probably 25% of that is due to inflation.

The only inflation is in the stock market which does not count as inflation. That is good inflation. Some recent inflation due to stimulus. That is going away. You will not see higher rates in your lifetime. The party is over.

Exactly. What is exactly is the US economy? US trade deficit is terrible.

I know don't expect the US indices to dip. In fact, I expect them to rise. But pursuant to your point, all propped up on inflation. Nominal increase, but Real change around zero when you divide by (1 + Inflation).
