Nobody cares about the small business and restaurants affected by Covid but god dammit we can't let the airlines lose out on more money!

Depends on your perspective. Saving the airlines does a hell of a lot more for me than saving a couple small businesses. It’s about the only penny of my tax money I benefit from. They sure as hell like to hand out a lot of money to other shit that does me no good.Comment -
i feel bad for some restaurants. the ones who do the right thing and just make enough to live a normal/good healthy life do not deserve this. i wish there were options for them and some help to at least sustain life until the pandemic gets better or improves.
however....
i don't feel bad for others where they are crying poverty but have made millions thru the years. some, not a lot but a good chunk, by me are crying now but you never heard a peep when they didn't declare a lot of their cash revenue and have houses in very nice and affluent neighborhoods. all of a sudden they can't afford their lifestyles and are panicking. hard for me to feel bad when husband and wife drive the newest Mercedes, have 6 bedroom houses with 3 bathrooms that cost about one million dollars, etc. they should have saved like anyone else.
at least with the airlines it is a service we need in order to function as a world. if joe's pizza closes down the block for not preparing for an emergency and living too lavish, sucks to be him. joe's pizza doesn't give a shit when my dad couldn't work cause of health issues so vice versa.
i am not trying to sound cold hearted either, just realistic. lots of bigshots in my neighborhood love showing off. now shit hits the fan and they cry.Comment
