#5You know, even IF there was one of those cases a day, it still would be minuscule when compared to the overall violent crime taking place in the country and how many police interactions there are.
Remember, how the Liberals spin the facts and say that only 7% of BLM protests are violent? That means the majority or 93% are peaceful right?
Could you imagine how many criminals would be dead every day if 7% of the police encounters ended in death? A shit ton.Comment -

#6Meh. Police these days are not looking to deescalate civilian confrontations AS THEY SHOULD BE. I have no respect for the Police any more AT ALL. It's too bad because 90% of them are good cops. But they won't cross "the blue line" to weed out the bad 10%.Comment -

There is and has been an epidemic of violent blacks assaulting, raping, and murdering yet you ignore it and want to act like 3 or so shooting deaths a year in the back by police are the existential threat.Comment -

The BLM movement was born as a direct result of unacceptable Policing policies over the last several years. As an older White male, for me, the issues are substantially much more than Black and White. Police have been violating ALL our Civil Rights and pizzing ALL OVER our Constitutional Rights until we've reached this breaking point.
Instead of deescalating civilian confrontations Police these days are posturing up and actively seeking to argue, injure, and even kill. Looking back I'd say this started after 9/11 when the Politicians and Courts made a power grab with the "Patriot Act". Remember that legislative BS?
Thankfully technology has evened the playing field. All of a sudden we have smart phones and cameras that can live link to the internet. In a matter of seconds criminals and tyrant cops are live-streaming under the you-tube microscope. And that's how these little Black bastards got caught in this case. The neighbor's security camera.

#17I got one for you goose man...
Several months ago I was picking up pizza for dinner when the cops pulled over a car in the middle of the street about 10-15’ from where I was parked. The passenger immediately jumps out the car and runs right at me before turning into the alley while tossing his loaded revolver onto the neighboring businesses roof. The cops gave chase but didn’t see him toss the gun until I informed the ones that arrived as back up.
Now these cops finally catch up to this punk blocks away after running him down. Meanwhile the other cops have now secured the vehicle and the female driver and located another hand gun and assault rifle, along with a fully loaded extended magazine on that passenger floorboard. Now you know by this point these cops have radioed this information to the cops in the foot pursuit so when they’ve eventually caught this guy you can imagine the adrenaline going thru their bodies and the take down is not going to be as pleasant as you cup cakes would like. You then have the general public that may be nearby when this apprehension takes place not knowing what took place a few blocks from their home and this guy had a car full of loaded weapons, all they see along with the rest of the world because they are recording it with those phones you talked about is “white cops being forceful with another innocent black man as he was out for a jog”.Comment -

#18I never said cops have an easy job. It's an occupation I never considered because of my temperament. Certain people just aren't cut out for that job. That's why we don't need bad cops who let their adrenaline control their professionalism.
In addition, cops are TRAINED (s#it flows from top to bottom) to coerce information from civilians.
"Do you know why I stopped you? Do you know how fast you were going? Where are you coming from? Where are you going?" NONE of those questions is anything you are required to divulge to cops. Most people are ignorant when it comes to their Constitutional Rights. Any defense attorney worth $1 will tell you to keep calm and be respectful. Answer simply, "yes sir, no sir, I don't know" or just sit there and keep your mouth shut.
Cops absolutely will try to bully you if you are stupid enough to talk...

#21"Maybe anyone stupid enough to come in contact with the police needs to be bullied?
It's not like a lottery they're not just picking names out of a hat".
C'mon, that's like saying anybody stupid enough to be open carrying needs to be hassled.
Cops and politicians need to leave ALL of the Constitution alone and keep their hands off.
When cops were hired they swore an oath to that Constitution.
So these days it's OK for them to coerce those rights from civilians?

My point is you went straight to that in this thread after seeing the video. Animals like those in the video are a huge problem, but you immediately brought up the false narrative of an epidemic of police shooting people in the back.Comment -

If you see some black guy walking around looking all tough and aggravated chances are he needs to be in jail before something bad happens.
So you search him and run his name and bingo either has something illegal on him or has a warrant.
When he resists arrest you kneel on his neck and off him. Doing society a favor.Comment -

#26There is no doubt policing is imperfect and there are some very imperfect human beings doing it

I agree this jack ass needs tuned up. The problem as I see it is thus. When i grew up police were at least 6-2 with some meat on them. Today guys are 5'6 150 lbs. GUys that got picked on in high school or didn't lose their cherry until they became cops. Now I have 2 friends that rose to chief of police and others are of rank. They didn't need guns because they would knuckle up.They bitchh about young cops. I have a scar where in my youth a officer hit me with a baton. NOt because I opened my mouth but because my dad was shagging his wife.Comment
