Pro membership is a feel good bullchit story and a false narrative. We're starting to see it.

Even non-itemizers are allowed a $300 charitable tax deduction this year

That makes it even more lucrative

I made like 700$+ from Rando contests, trivia, and the point sportsbook in the last 6 months.

Too lazy to figure out the poker on a Mac and I’m kind of glad I don’t have that option or I’d spend too much time playing.

Entering these contests takes 30 seconds and if you are already on a gambling forum shooting the shit and discussing games why wouldn’t you be a pro so you can win some money and prizes?

And there it is! Obviously the point of going pro is to pay/donate $100 and then win more than that during the year of the pro membership. Other than that, I don't guess it would mean anything else. What other reason is there besides a chance to win money?

I don't enjoy contests. 20 years of activity proves that.
