Use cash all the time pal.
The most common denomination of bill is the 20, I sure as hell ain't looking at that fat ugly black face 50 times every time I count out a dime.
Slavery was just the way of the times back then, it was completely socially acceptable. Just like owning a dog today.
What if you accomplished many great things in your lifetime and 150 years from now people tore statues of you down and renamed buildings named after you and took you off of the currency because you owned a dog.
It's the same exact thing.Comment -

#38And for all you people saying that you're not racist why don't you send your wife or your daughter over to a black house party some night?
Thought so.Comment -

#39Should put Aretha Franklin on the $20 bill. Then next time you are about to make a frivolous purchase, seeing her face might make you change your mind.

#41Cash?
What is cash?
I remember it being this rectangular piece of paper with a dead president and some numbers on it.
90 percent of my purchases are online or made with plastic in store these days.
I couldn't give a shit if the portrait of Candice Bergen was on it, I don't carry much cash anymore.Comment -

#42Why the fukk does the money have dead people on it anyway? How fukkin stupid. Modernize the shit. Go the Nascar route and have Google and Coca cola pay to put their logos on bills. Let politicians running for office put their slogans on the money. Fukk fractional reserve banking also. Inflation is a bitch. It's funny that Woodrow Wilson isn't on any bills. The creature from Jekkyl Island he approved. Silly ass chattel.
It is not ment to be a political football or showcase a runaway slave whose contribution to the country's long term success is meaningless.

#48The artwork on the money is a way of offering all citizens a chance to see and learn from the artwork. In the past great images, not just US imagery, has adorned our currency. It is ment to shower the populous with the leaders who expelled worldly ideas, enlightenment and foresight, as well as showcase the great neoclassical structures that we govern in.

#49This shit should be proportional too. Black people are only 13% of the U.S. population. Latinos are much higher at about 30%. Where tf are the Latinos and Asians at on the currency. Black people like to strongarm the equality mantra but that's discriminatory to Latinos, Asians, Native Indigenous Peoples. If black people aren't about equality for all races, then fukk their equality. 30% of the population deserves to be represented in higher apportionment than 13% does. Get your fukkin heads out your asses naacp. You ain't about equality at all. You're only about black pride bs at the expense of Latinos, Asians and Indians. Exposed.Comment -

#50Yet you were also talking about them tearing down statues and being the ones who levy taxes. While they print the money that has these pictures of American historical figures, they do not choose how much currency they print. But given the picture you chose to use, it is pretty clear you lack the mental capacity to understand these things. Who could have thought having being a Nazi supporter and being too stupid to understand basic civics would go together?
Clearly you are too retarded to read every post, and put them in the correct context. It's a little above your understanding.Comment -

When you see Dr Franklin do you know he was the President of Pennsylvania, the leader of the abolitionist movement and our emissary to France?
When you see Washington do you know he was the Virginia delegate who, along w Franklin and Madison, WROTE the Constitution. That he did NOT free his slaves, that he pursued and treated harshly those who fled his ownership? Did you know Washington personally put down Shays rebellion?
When you see Jefferson did you know he founded his own university, was the 1st political candidate to campaign, was widely considered a radical, and is the founder of the Republican party (then known as the Democrat Republican party as opposed to the Federalist and Whigs). Did you know he took over for Franklin in Paris, tried to entice Adam's to engage Nepolean in Louisiana to TAKE the territory and that he still has living descents of slaves he impregnated.
When you see Hamilton do you understand how UNPOPULAR he was with his idea of Federalusm, a central bank and strong national military. In drafting the Constitution many of the executive branch powers came expressly from Hamiltons aggressive politicking.
Did you know Grant wasn't the 1st, 2nd or 3rd General to lead the Union army? That he owned slaves? Was a reconstruction republican but used cronies to siphon much of the funds into friendly companies.
Jackson, the 1st territorial governor of Florida, defender of New Orleans, was shot and carried w him a bullet in his ribs for his entire life. Left the WH open to all visitors and had annual "cheese days" to keep the people apprised of the politics.
When you actually get intrigued and interested in the men on the currency, inspired by the weary ordeals they went thru, learned of the good and the bad they deal with in crafting our country, we understand our history, our philosophy, our endeavor.
The USA is a work in progress, to create a "more perfect union", to be lead by serious men with worldly experiences and enlightened ideas.
We don't glorify a slave who encouraged rebellion...it's actually hypocritical politicians that accuse Trump of insisting that his 1/6/21 crowd storm the Capitol is insurrection when they promote the Tubman saga...a woman we know nothing about her philosophy, her good and her bad, other than she actively conspired to steal and free others property and as such, indirectly lead to what caused insurrection (the civil war).Comment
