HOUSE: Pelosi ----needs a bill passed asap or she will not get her speaker title back

SENATE: Small bill in December would help runoffs in Georgia for the republicans

PRESIDENT: Trump tweeted he wants one done. Even if he loses court cases, his political/news career is just beginning and would help even more

                Playbook: The year-end cliff

THERE ARE NO CONVERSATIONS right now about another round of Covid relief. None. The White House is silent. The Hill is quiet. That means no new programs, no new money for Americans before the holiday season.

So Pelosi needs a bill to pass to keep her title. Trump wants a bill to pass. If a bill passes, it makes the Georgia elections look good for the Republicans. If a bill passes, it makes Trump look good too. So, since Pelosi has a grudge against Trump, she is making the bill over $3 trillion so it looks like she is working. If it passes, Pelosi keeps her title but at the same time she makes it expensive for Trump.

Nancy is a degenerate. If Nancy was a SBR poster, she'd be an air bettor.

McConnell shoots down bipartisan $900 billion coronavirus stimulus plan as stalemate drags on

PUBLISHED TUE, DEC 1 20209:12 AM ESTUPDATED 3 MIN AGO
                    Jacob Pramuk

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell rejected a new bipartisan $908 billion stimulus plan put forward in an effort to break the legislative stalemate as the coronavirus surges throughout the country.
The plan aims to address the expiration of key economic aid programs, including an unemployment insurance extension.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell rejected a proposed bipartisan stimulus package Tuesday amid months of congressional inaction on curbing the economic damage from the outbreak.

The Kentucky Republican, who has supported about $500 billion in new aid spending, said he wants to pass what he called a “targeted relief bill” this year. McConnell said he spoke to White House officials about what President Donald Trump would sign into law. He plans to offer potential solutions to GOP senators and get their feedback.

“We just don’t have time to waste time,” he told reporters in response to the roughly $908 billion plan put together by bipartisan members of the GOP-controlled Senate and Democratic-held House.

McConnell said a must-pass spending bill and pandemic relief provisions will “all likely come in one package.” Congress needs to approve funding legislation by Dec. 11 to avoid a government shutdown.

The framework of the bipartisan relief bill released Tuesday includes $288 billion in small business aid such as Paycheck Protection Program loans, $160 billion in state and local government relief and $180 billion to fund a $300 per week supplemental unemployment benefit through March. It would put $16 billion into vaccine distribution, testing and contact tracing, funnel $82 billion into education and put $45 billion into transportation. It would allocate funds for rental assistance, child care and broadband.

The proposal would not include another direct payment to most Americans. It also would offer temporary federal protection from coronavirus-related lawsuits — a provision Democrats have opposed — while states determine their own laws.

Democratic Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia, a member of the congressional group that has discussed a new relief plan, earlier called it an “interim package” to provide support until President-elect Joe Biden takes office in January.

That 1 trillion stimulus bill ain't going nowhere. It's not enough for Chupacabra and twice as much as Cocaine Mitch would like to see. This is more power playing with the spending bill on the table. I think they kick the can down the road until February with keeping things as they are. Stimulus will come down to a bet on the election Jan 5. Chupacabra is betting on that election irregularities plan to come through again with a couple of new senators, where Mitch was just trying to hedge his bet knowing that the fix may be in again. If the dems get new senators, you can bet the stimulus will be about 4 to 5 trillion, and Geriatric Joe will sign it or have his executors of his state sign it since he doesn't even know he is alive at this point and is about a excited dog walk away from a broken hip too.

They would get anything ending in December passed again through Congress.

Dumb play by Pelosi earlier this year to not accept the 1.7 trillion, although i guess she did trump out

Now the 1 trillion wont be passing?

I think somehow they get something before they leave congress

going to look pretty fukkin bad if they pay themselves again without getting something done

The current budget ends 12.12 so they can't wait anyway.

                              There are 2 issues here.

1- litigation/ tort reform related to CV 19
                              2- state bailouts

                              Dems don't want 1, want 2. Reps want 1, dont want 2.

What will pass? Limited liability protections, zero state bailouts and probably a much smaller 1 time check along w a 6 month continuing resolution on the budget.

Pelosi held out hoping to get 2trillion just for the States because, let's face it, State pension plans aren't recovering from this despite market all time highs. Nobody putting any money into them.

You're saying small businesses have only been hurt in states with democrat governors?

When and where there's demand, there will be supply. Of course new restaurants will open, but eventually the demand will drive the supply and restaurants will come back. If you ever wanted to get into the restaurant business but never did, next year will be a great time to start.

I'm in Florida. We're wide open. If the other states had done this, we wouldn't need stimulus or bailouts. And here's the kicker, Florida- wide open Florida- isn't any better or any worse w Covid cases/ infection rate/ death than any closed State.

Bars & restaurants are dead. Not 30% of the small ones will reboot.

Guys in here say "buy one" lol. Who the fukk has a job in places like MN or Las Vegas to go out and drink or socialize anymore. Who's got credit? What banks are going to lend ANY MONEY NOW without the federal government backing it now that's becoming the new norm...

No, this isn't stimulous- it's a rose on the economic grave for the poor souls living in shut down states.
