Just a layman's point of view here, but...

Remember how the scientists in Jurassic Park modified the missing parts of dinosaurs dna w that of known current ancestors?

What's to say some crazy scientists didn't splice HIV with SARS or N1H1, inject it into a rat or monkey or some test animal for research, that later got bit by a lose free bat that wound up trapped then cooked for consumption in some soup?

It's not entirely improbable that the virus is a man made lab result....and like HIV, it modifies itself depending on it's host. And as such, it doesn't have to be a 300,000 yr old coronavirus....it simply might be a newer version of the 90 yr old human immunodeficiency virus. A virus we don't have a cure for, but that many labs (like Wuhan) are working on curing. And to avoid global panic, they don't refer to it as HIV due to stigma...they just name it CoVid19, which nobody knows wtf that is.
