The line above was set nearly 3 weeks ago... I would say it was sharp then and is still sharp now... what do you think?
Let's contrast that with what Trump said at the time:
"Look: Easter's a very special day for me. And I see it sort of in that timeline that I'm thinking about. And I say, 'Wouldn't it be great to have all the churches full?'" Trump said.
"You'll have packed churches all over our country. I think it would be a beautiful time, and it's just about the timeline that I think is right,"
Now, the Trump cult members will likely say something like "HE'S BEING OPTIMISTIC YOU LIBTARD!". There's a difference between being optimistic and living in a completely delusional fantasy. Optimism is hoping your favorite Baseball team will win 100 games this year. Fantasy is thinking they will go undefeated. It's a good thing to be optimistic... I agree... but you must also combine that with REALITY. Reality doesn't care what you WANT to be true. The problem with Trump and his supporters is... they don't know the difference between fantasy and reality. When Trump tells them that their team will go 162-0 this year... they believe it!!! They don't know any better.
Trump makes terrible prediction after terrible prediction... OVER AND OVER again... and his cult followers STILL think that he should be trusted when he makes yet another terrible prediction. Yet... when people like me make ACCURATE predictions like the one above... they'll disregard it entirely because they don't like the prediction and claim that it is "pessimistic". Even if the prediction was 100% correct... they still consider it negative.
Ask yourself this question... would rather we have a leader right now that is a straight shooter and is predicting things accurately... OR... would you rather have one that is WAY off on all of his "optimistic" predictions? In times like these... it has never been more important for Trump and his supporters to live in REALITY.
