The article is a retread. When they say "in todays dollars" they dont tell you they used 9.5% compounded(SnP avg gain). They dont subtract what he spent to live on.

I'd sure think twice before running for positions of power in Government or Justice now after seeing this attack on KAV... I hope this isn't the standard from now on.. I don't think the Republicans would ever go this far against A Democratic Justice nominee.. Dems went to far...
They lost the election, they lost the House, they lost the Senate and there are prices to pay for that if you are a Democrat.. Get the votes and change things don't fabricate allegations and attack a mans character and family in this fashion...

Ford's life is ruined because she thought her fairy tale would be kept confidential and her "anonymous" letter would slow down the process.
Her first mistake: Write an anonymous letter in an attempt to slow down a valid nomination
Her second mistake: Trusting the democratic party who outed her and then promptly threw her under the bus.
Her third mistake: Giving sworn public testimony in which she relied on the sympathy of the American public and proceed to spin a tale that no one could corroborate. In other words, her story is worthless if not one person she names can confirm or verify one single fact.
Dems big mistake: Assuming the Pubs would roll over like they usually do. They got the fight they thought would never happen.
Lastly, if you or any of your ilk cannot admit that the past 2 weeks has been nothing more than a delay and/or destroy Kavanaugh to either make him quit, Pubs withdraw his nomination or delay it past the mid-terms than well...you are an intellectually dishonest individual and so are your com-padres.Comment -
