I just got hit with a big bill from the state of CT for cig taxes from 2009 and 2010. I quit smoking some time ago.

I don't think I have any grounds to dispute this, I did order cigs from Kentucky ( I think it was) at $20 a carton, now I must pay the taxes.

Be careful if you are doing this, a bill is likely coming for you, you might as well buy the cigs at the gas station and pay the price upfront.

An opportunity does exist to smuggle cigs ( like in a van) from cheap tobacco states to places like NYC.

This online stuff is likely to bite you in the ass.

LOL I didn't even realize cigs were available for sale online. Here in SoCarolina ours are cheap(er) than mant states, I always see guys with NY / NJ plates going into our stores and buying as many cartons as they are allowed.

Was getting Cuban cigarettes from a Swiss cigar vendor for $23 a carton shipped. He is out of stock now. The Vegas Robanias and Cohibas were stronger and fuller than Marlborough Reds.
