My point is that even if we had perfectly equal distribution of everything produced in the world we couldn't eradicate extreme poverty. The only remedy is higher production.

Everything is based on greed, the thing is capitalism is the one who tries to channel it to more productive endeavors, while the others, including your beloved socialism, are based on making some people worse off.

Stu never produced anything for anyone but Stu. Do you play poker Hicks? If you do you are trying to do nothing but take other peoples' hard earned money from them and give them nothing in return.

I'm not saying they should use GDP as the end all of an economy, I'm using it as a measure of how much we can consume. That' has been my whole point in bringing up GDP per capita, that we currently can't redistribute our way out of global poverty, we must produce more collectively.

I've always been against child labor, but it is preferable to child starvation or child rape. Hicks is against child labor because he wants children to be forced into sex work for survival.
Don't need the quote, you said it.

Yea? try and eat what you produce, can you wear it? Is your house made of paper? Your a rent seeker parasite on the rest of us.

I didn't say anything about redistribute. Don't distribute unfair in the first place. Either way what your saying is BS, BS proves BS.

Yes you did say you want child labor. Why should any kid starve or be raped for a system you endorse. We all know you don't want to do anything about it and will invest in companies that use child labor. That alone makes you in favor of child labor. CREEP.

Are you calling me a pedo Josh? 9 times out of 10 clowns like you project yourself on to others because using your own faults are what you think makes the best insults.

Tell you what, say it to my face and I will rip yours off you fuking punk bitch. Just because you are a giant asshole doesn't mean you get to say stupid shit. That's what makes you a punk bitch.

Generally speaking, no, means you support child labor laws. Isn't child prostitution still child labor?

You're making the point for me, there is no good reason to roll back child labor laws, it wouldn't even improve the economy, as you noted.

What happens to those kids when they get laid off? Will the govt say, oh, they are under age and won't get benefits? Wingers don't think that far a head when doing anything.
