Here's the thing about PFAS, they're not allowed unless the FDA says they probably won't harm people. Let's see what the FDA has to say on this issue:If you have a problem with PFAS, you should blame the government agencies which paved the way for their market entry.
FDA doesn't regulate PFOS in the environment, that's the EPA. It's shocking how little you know about the world around you. No government agencies paved the way for their market entry. These compounds were invented by Dupont.

You're the one who needs to talk less and listen more, and for once, stop lying.

    I just demolished you.

Pretty much everyone's decisions are primarily driven through financial returns. Most people hate their jobs, but do it anyway because it's better than begging. They don't get a job to increase economic productivity. Here's the thing, investors' impact is huge if they're good. Most pension plans invest, and it's a good thing because it allows people to have money and spend even when they're too old or invalid to produce. Like I wrote before, if investors didn't have discernment and just gave money to anyone who could fog a mirror, we would have 2008 all over again. If they didn't exist, the only entities who could own property would be the very wealth.
Given you provided no evidence to support this word salad, i'll just post that wall street caused 2008 and made wealth inequality worse.

Then again, what does any of this have to do with the irony I pointed out in you arguing with khicks that blue collar workers/working poor are not productive, and at the same time tripping over yourself to explain that passive investing is a productive activity, when by definition, it's not. You're a complete buffoon Josh.

I'm not talking about small business. What are you stupid? What is the No.1 goal of all corporations above all? Make profit, not what is good for people.

Go ahead and prove that. Given that the profits will be $0 if they can't get customers, the way for them to make profit is to cater to the public better than their competitors.

Anecdotal, strawman, garbage isn't helping you. LOL

It's documented that 1/3 of all food produced in the world is spoiled by bacteria and molds. You've said in the past that numbers don't always tell the story, and in this case, it's true, not food produced is fit for consumption.

Josh you consume more than you produce, you produce nothing. LOL Well you did produce a strawman if you want to count that. LOL

No Hicks, you consume more than they produce. You're a parasite.

How about nobody fails on purpose.

We should go with the smallest failure.

I would say putting toxins in the water is harmful.

I told you, the government is controlled by the rich and corporations. Only a person who doesn't want to see it would say what you say.

Do you have evidence that PFAS are are toxic and the FDA says they're safe for humans when they're not? You should come forward with it, but you won't because you're just making things up

Dude the only person you are BS'ing is yourself. But then everything is about you anyway. lol
      I'm not BS'ing at all, you're the one BS'ing

Fuk dude, Josh went to Fox Business School. LOL Tell him we waste more food than the world can consume and he starts talking about mold on strawberry's, WTF is that? If that doesn't sound like Stuart Varney I don't know what does.
Again, Hicks, 1/3 of all food produced in the world is spoiled by bacteria and mold.

LOL, you just demolished yourself. I literally quoted from the FDA's website where they said that
The FDA has authorized specific PFAS for use in specific food contact applications. Some PFAS are used in cookware, food packaging, and in food processing for their non-stick and grease, oil, and water-resistant properties. To ensure food contact substances are safe for their intended use, the FDA conducts a rigorous review of scientific data prior to their authorization for market entry. The FDA’s authorization of a food contact substance requires that available data and information demonstrate that there is a reasonable certainty of no harm under the intended conditions of use.
You're claiming that you're right and the FDA is wrong.

I never said that blue collar workers/working poor are not productive, I said they don't produce enough to justify the high compensation that Hicks claims they should have. I also laid the blame for that at the feet of the politicians who designed the horrible K-12 education system that they went through that didn't teach them the skills they need to produce enough to live off.

The pic wasn't worth replying to. Your arguments are nothing but baseless accusations anyway. Do you have any proof that the FDA approved PFOS because they've been bought off?

not very libertarian of you. lol

does it really matter if i have proof, nothing will change your mind anyway. Besides if you really wanted to know, its not hard to figure out.

I think you would rather tell yourself pretty little lies anyway. This is the very reason debating with you is pointless.

Nice anecdote, but moving in my direction and away from yours economically has seen the biggest drop in poverty ever. A lower percentage of humans live in extreme poverty than ever, and you want to take us back.

We've been through this many times, back in the 1800's we were known as the land of opportunity and tens of millions of people from all around the globe moved here to partake in the highest standard of living up to that point in history that America offered. It wasn't unions that caused that, as unions and guilds were much more prevalent in Europe than America, it was actually capitalism and the very policies you want to end. The New Deal was what prolonged the depression and caused people to have to ration their food and other household items to survive.

I never said I was a big fan of child labor, you're lying yet again. I did say it was preferable to child starvation or child prostitution, which happens in poor countries when children can't work.

Do you have wax in your ears? The FDA doesn't regulate environmental contamination. This has nothing to do with food grade applications of PFOS. PFOS is used in a variety of activities that have nothing to do with food or drugs; therefore, the FDA has nothing to do with what we are talking about. Is that simple enough for a dumb penetrate "advisor" to understand? Lol your entire profession is a joke.

If they got rid of all the other taxes for owning shit and just taxed the consumption maybe 30% would be in the right area even though it still sounds a little high to me. The concept however is equitable for both rich and poor alike to be taxed on what you consume. It doesn't hurt the poor any more, but it doesn't give the handouts to the poor so in a twisted sense, the poor would see less handouts and thus the perception would be that it is screwing the poor.

I'm against the national sales tax because they will just add this tax on top of the other taxes so I would get charged for stuff I already own, and stuff I am consuming.
Of course it's not equitable. Poor people can't save and have to use all funds for consumption. Rich people consume a tiny fraction and would be able to grow wealth even faster. Surely you aren't going to claim that this wouldn't seriously enlarge the gap between the poor and the rich? And then they pass the wealth down tax-free so that generations below and can do the same forever. While others will always be slaves. That, and it would drive economy underground to avoid reporting sales.

When that was cut in 2017, the result was wage gains for lower income workers and the lowest poverty rate ever. Things were so good the democrats were claiming credit for the economy up until Covid hit.
