Should white people be against Jim Crow laws? Should Americans be against invading oil rich countries to lower our gas prices?
YES!
You don't support policies because it will make the groups you love better off at the expense of the groups you hate, you support policies that are moral and make the country better.

Nothing moral about billionaires getting richer when some can't afford basic health care.

It's totally moral for a billionaire to see their net worth going up if they're worth it.
The problem with poverty in the world is due to lack of productivity, not greed, hoarding or capitalism.

Worldwide annual GDP per capita adjusted for PPP = $18,000 - $19,000. US annual GDP spending per capita at all levels of government = over $30,000, and the left says that's no where adequate.
That means if you took everything produced in the world every year, divided it equally between every person on the planet, every person on the planed would be in dire poverty by US standards. Hoarding isn't the problem, lack of productivity is.

Hey dumbass, productivity is at historic highs and the middle class is smaller than ever, while the rich are richer than ever. You're entire argument is based on fantasy.
People living in the third world would be living like kings on a US level income, but that's a strawman. We are talking about the massive wealth hording denying people basic necessities like health care, education, adequate infrastructure. That is happening right now in the US, you can bury your head, but there was a time when people could raise a family on one income, had more free time, and that was when those things cost most than they would today. Yet we are still worse off. We have a situation in which, 10 families have more wealth than the 90% of Americans, you'de be a fool to think that has nothing to do with the shrinking middle class.

No, it's the middle class isn't smaller than ever at all, and you must ask who is increasing productivity? Burger flippers aren't much more productive now than in 1960. My whole argument is based on scarcity and value, yours is based on fantasy where there is enough to go around for everyone.
They would not be living like kings on US level income at all. First, you have to factor in government spending. If the government can only spend $19,000 per capita and the all the money is spent, you can't give anyone a gift, paycheck or tip, they're dirt poor! You have to factor in how much there is to go around.
People could raise a family on one income in the past, but that was when we had a military draft that acted as a de facto trade school for a significant amount of men. We ended that in 1973 and tried to push people into college, and the end result is we have a system that spends approximately $170,000 per student over 13 years, and when they graduate, they can work at McDonald's as a fry cook - after 13 years and $170,000 spent to educate them. If you want to fix the problem, spend less time in high school teaching people Shakespeare and playing kick ball and teach them coding, plumbing, HVACR tech, how to be a mechanic or electrician, etc, and less on trying to get them into college where they can get an art history degree. When they produce more, they earn more, there's more for the rest of us to consume which pushes prices lower, and we're all better off.

Nobody produces that much to be worth a billion dollars. Billionaires sure as hell aren't the ones taking raw materials & turning it into something to consume.
Their like you, they live off economic rent & the backs of workers they don't pay enough. People that make money in their sleep should be the only ones paying tax's. They add nothing to the production & consumption economy. Without workers you people would be eating cold money sandwiches, because sure as fuk your lame asses don't know how to start a fire.

I don't hate them. But they have bought the government, changes the rules to favor them. They don't give back to the society that made them rich & pay people that do the work like shit.
More constructive criticism than hate. Greed is one of the 7 deadliest. It will run the country & the planet into the gutter.
Neo-feudalism or new feudalism is a theorized contemporary rebirth of policies of governance, economy, and public life reminiscent of those present in many feudal societies, such as unequal rights and legal protections for common people and for nobility.

That's nothing but your incorrect opinion. Prove that no one should be worth a billion. If it's so easy to run a successful company that takes raw materials and turn it into something to consume, they're free to start and run a business that does that. If you can make the next Tesla or Apple, by all means do it.
The ones who live off the backs of others are the ones who are being paid more than they're worth. Use that line of faulty thinking with any other product or service: All companies have a right to turn a profit. If you can't afford to buy a product or service at a price that keeps the company profitable, then you can't have the product or service. Instead of bailing out car or airline companies, just simply set the minimal price of a car to $60,000, and the minimal price of a plane ticket to $2,000. If you don't think that will work, apply your reasoning to labor.
I've said many times we would be better if we actually trained students to produce more rather than just put them into a giant K-12 college prep program. Higher productivity = higher pay & lower prices.

You just can't argue with people who don't deal in facts. Top 1% of U.S. Earners Now Hold More Wealth Than All of the Middle Class
The military is a defacto trade school..LMFAO, that must be why it's so hard for Vets to get jobs when they get out of the service?
You're ideas are outdated, wrong, and sound senile to be honest. Time to revisit your theory and leave you're small flyover state to see the real world.

Again, the middle class isn't smaller than ever, as you earlier stated.
Yes, the top 1% has more wealth than the bottom 60%. The reason why is because they have more disposable income which they can put in things like the stock market which increases their value. I don't have time to really dive deep into the stock market and annualized returns with you right now, but if you're interested I can later tonight or maybe in a couple days.
Regarding your quip about the military being a de facto trade school, I'm correct. Military vets, despite some coming home disabled mentally or physically, have a lower unemployment rate than the general population
October 8, 2021
Veteran Unemployment Rate was 3.9% in September
In September 2021, the veteran unemployment rate was 3.9%, up from 3.8% the previous month. The comparable non-veteran unemployment rate was 4.8% in September.
That takes into account all of the general population, including those with college degrees and a trade school certificate. Compare them to only high school diploma and the gap would be even greater.
Again, get away from teaching Shakespeare and gym class and get into teaching most high school students vocations and a lot of this wealth and income inequality will go away

Repukes love billionaires or any supervisor. Ever see one brown nose the boss? It's disgusting. They might as well pull down his zipper right there. I worked factories for 35 years and seen many repukes not do any work, just get by, but boy when the boss comes around they get busy right away and can't wait for the chance to go talk to him real nice and invite him for dinner. I tried supervising for a short period and couldn't stand the ass kissing I was receiving. GTF away from me, go do some work! Most billionaires never even created a job let alone worked one. They'll say playing stocks is hard work. LOFL! Tax the f out of them!

As I said, workers are the ones who create something to consume. Not billionaires or companies. You must have missed that. LOL
Tesla & Apple would be nothing without government subsidies, US infrastructure & market. Yet they hide money overseas, treat workers like shit & outsource jobs. All while paying an effective tax rate of 0 to 12% or in the worse case get a refund. So lets not talk about who's over paid. How is this possible? They own the government & in some cases are the government. See Frederic Bastiat quote above. LOL
Josh, you want drones not people that will think for themselves or question the system you profit from. You don't do the work, you look at people as useful idiots. Bastiat was against welfare states and redistribution of wealth, which is what you argue for. The reality is that if people don't get what they think they're worth, they won’t produce, no matter how much they have. The problem with the people at the lower end of the economy is our school system is a joke

Those workers wouldn't create anything without a company willing to let them use the company's property. You might not like Walmart, but if Walmart employees want to open their own store, pay the insurance, pay the utilities, pay other workers to help in the operation, deal with all regulations, get products from around the world, have a fleet of trucks and drivers to move the freight, pay for the insurance on those trucks, put the shelves up in the building like Walmart does, they're free to do that. The problem is that it requires so much start up cash and know how, it's easier to work stocking shelves for Walmart and complain.
All of those subsidies & infrastructure are paid for with taxes generated through private sector employment. Do you know anyone who works for those companies? I know someone who works for Tesla and he is a multimillionaire. He actually constantly talks about how well Elon Musk treats his employees.
Obviously you don't understand corporate tax law. Corporations are required by law to file quarterly estimated taxes. When they over pay, they get a refund, just like normal people do. You're not against people owning the government, just as long as it's you and people who believe like you and can put its finger on your side of the scale, not someone else's.
I do plenty of work, and did an awful lot of manual labor in my day. I've stocked shelves overnight at Walmart, been a ramp agent at an airport, believe me, I've paid my dues, but I also learned about the economy and finance and here I am.
Nothing I post is made up. If you want to see made up, look at when Hicks posted pix of the Philippines slums and tried to pass it off as Hong Kong.

I'll see your machines and tools and raise you a Rolls Royce engine that can suck you in and goo-ify you in a matter of seconds. I've worked jobs for years where the standard shift was 11.5 hours, and I used to be a dues paying member of the SteelWorkers of America Union in a right-to-work state. I never endangered other drivers' lives by driving while that sleepy or drunk like you admit to doing. I haven't ever fallen from too high or ripped my hand open on a rusty nail, but that's because I'm more cautious than you and care about the safety of my co-workers, unlike you.

I don't speak for all workers at all, but I've been on both sides and know their perspective. Go back to post #18 in this thread, and you'll see how we need to put the skills people acquire in the military into our K-12 system. It would make the vast majority of Americans better off.
Yea we know you want drones. POS

You don't care about Chinese workers, you care about yourself and that's pretty much it.
All of history knows it's true. You don't.
Do you know what a ramp agent is? You know those guys who are slinging luggage on and off an airplane at the airports in rain, sleet, snow, heat or sun? Yeah, I did that.
By the way I had a job were I had to stand over vat of paint & dip parts in it. Fall in & your fuked for life or dead. Your engine isn't shit stock boy.

While you were stocking shelfs & avoiding jobs around that engine. I was 18 & crawling under Yachts jacking up cradles to put wheels under them so the boats could be moved. Then we had to guide them between other boats in buildings to get them to the hoist to be put in the water. One bad move your smashed like bug. But here I am. LMAO

Military vets, despite some coming home disabled mentally or physically, have a lower unemployment rate than the general population https://www.dol.gov/agencies/vets/latest-numbers
That takes into account all of the general population, including those with college degrees and a trade school certificate. Compare them to only high school diploma and the gap would be even greater.
Again, get away from teaching Shakespeare and gym class and get into teaching most high school students vocations and a lot of this wealth and income inequality will go away
