Trump wasn't on the ballot and two years of pent-up anger and a historic turnout barely moved the needle for dems.

I'd be very nervous if I were wearing blue. Trump will be having 3 rallies a day and he is going to be tough to beat in '20. The thin margin dems hold will not hold up if Trump has the same support in '20 as he had in '18.

Ohhhh, I thought everyone had already seen the insanity of Dems during Obamas time. Which should mean given that it was only 2 years ago the GOP should have never lost the house

Maybe what just happened is people are atarting to see the insanity of the conservatives, what a dysfunctional group

Reality is there is a MUCH better chance the Dems take the Senate in 2020 than lose the House

naw. longer term play is abortion banned federally is good for the Democrats. If it becomes on a state to state basis, rich white people can travel to new york, california, other states where abortion will be legal. Poor hispanics and blacks wont be able to get abortions that live in the deep south. that means more democrat voters. it also means more of a drain on those states that are already really poor, but who in the economic centers of america really cares what happens to those states anyway. We need people to live in the shitty places doing the shitty work on pig farms, so the rest of us can live like we do.
