I bought an old 1949 Almanac at a yard sale & in 1947 here was the total value of
Manufacturing in millions of dollars:

1) USA 56,828
2) UK 13,907
3) USSR 9,160
4) Japan 5,595
5) Canada 3,336
6) Sweden 1,955
7) Argentina 1,524
8) Chile 1,267
9) Australia 765
10 South Africa 760

The USA won the war with Japan single handidly and along
with Britain & Russia beat Germany simply because this
country manufactured more materials than the next 9
countries combined.

We don't manufacture anything anymore the USA has
service industries, if a war came up & China or Russia
were adversaries I don't think China would supply us
with the steel we used to produce. Kaiser produced a ship a day
during the war with our steel. Pittsburgh & Birmingham are
not the steel capitals of the world anymore.

Trump knows this and will do something about it. We need heavy industry
to come back from Japan China & even Europe, we'll never get back to where we were
but with Trump at the helm we'll be OK, though I'm sure everything will cost more
it will be well worthwhile!

I disagree! Germany & Japan have wages much closer to USA wages now than they did
during WWII and yet look at the ability the USA had to get into war mode in 43 & 44:
