#40watch the video above. "perhaps he's a war hero. He's a hero because he got captured." Ok, maybe a little harsh but that's what you get when you call Trump's supporter crazies. Tit for tat.
Based on what you say, people can call Trump supporters crazies and you don't care, but if he fights back, you have an issue? HMMM.
I get it, you will defend anyone that attacks Trump but consider him finished if he fights back. Okie dokie.
This only boosts his popularity. And rightfully so.
Fight the power Andy!Comment -

It certainly wasn't because the GOP/Media gave him a pass because they were in love with him. They obviously didn't have him on their radar.Comment -

Only way Trump could do all these amazing things (trash trade agreements, build walls, revamp the VA) - would be through executive order.
Isn't one of your top 382 critiques of Obama that he acts like a dictator?Comment -

#48McCain is not a war hero. A person is war hero who distinguishing himself in combat or saves his comrades in battle. His military service does not rise to the level of hero..

Obama; no military beat McCain.
GW Bush; spotty military beat Kerry.
Clinton; no military beat GHW Bush and Dole.
GHW Bush; war hero; president? no so good.
Reagan; reserves then limited service which was more like a deferment.
Carter; Navy Academy, then service; president? no second term.
Democratic electorate doesn't get impressed by military accomplishments but Democratic campaigns like to invoke hypocrisy. Maybe there is some mileage to that.
Republican electorate used to care but do they still? Doesn't look like it.Comment -

Dems happy to trash McCain in 2008.
I guess 2000 the Bush team went really hard at McCain. The talk of him being unstable, wife's drug use (the pandering to racists in SC with the push polling about an out of wedlock black kid)
Blanket dumb statements though like "I like people who weren't captured' are just too easy during an actual election cycle to paint a guy.
Right now, it's just pundits and forum bozos like myself having a field day and opponents trying to play the high road (hoping he'll self destruct before they have to spend any money on negative ads against him)
But when you have super-pac's doing up ads.
Oh man.
Good example from 2012. You can love Romney and hate Obama, but penetrate a duck, there were people on ELECTION DAY at exit polls still talking about this superpac ad.

especially if they pussed out.

#55Good ole' American gotcha politics again. The Donald definitely needed to be dragged into the back room off stage by his hair and given a little wall to wall consulting...low blow comment. That being said, nothing to do with policy and actually probably won the support of many liberals...media at least...Chris Hayes for one who is on record as saying he hates when people cheer for the troops at airports and label people volunteering to serve as heroes.
I'm still in the Walker or Rand or Perry camp voting wise though so this one doesn't tip the policy scale. Great tabloid story though.
Also agree with Ericc on service being tied to higher office....not a game changer either way in my opinion.Comment -

And since your rebuttal is how education is a control for masses.. you're right. A control used by Democrats... The kind of opinions you have, it would make perfect sense honestly if you were educated considering how majority of college professors, in related positions to speak on politics, are liberal. They push out young kids like you all the time; brainwashed with no real critical thinking skills.Comment -

The guy's a psychopath. Its not a matter of whether I agree with him or not. I rarely agree with Bill Maher but I don't think he's a psychopath. You can tell just by watching him what a dishonest human being he is. He thinks smirking, talking loud and waving his hands will magically make people buy what he's selling. Same as guys like scumbag do. It obviously works on some. I am too smart for that.Comment -

Breaking: Trump Leads GOP Field with 22% in New Post-Iowa Poll; NO DROP After McCain Remarks
A new poll that includes two full days of questioning after businessman Donald Trump made controversial remarks at the Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa on Saturday about Sen. John McCain’s(R-AZ)) war record shows Trump did not lose support despite taking a hammering from pundits and politicians desperate to drive Trump from the presidential race.
The poll released Tuesday afternoon by Morning Consult shows Trump leading the pack of GOP presidential contenders with 22 percent. His nearest competitors are former Florida Governor Jeb Bush at 15 percent and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker at 12 percent. No other GOP candidate had support above eight percent.
Morning Consult’s Reid Wilson exclaimed on Twitter:
